Sarah Àlainn Lyrics

For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay
There's always some reason
To feel not good enough
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Oh beautiful release
Let me be empty
And weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight
In the arms of the angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here
So tired of the straight line
And everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
And the storm keeps on twisting
You keep on building the lies
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference
Escaping one last time
It's easier to believe in this sweet madness oh
This glorious sadness that brings me to my knees
In the arms of the angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here
The lyrics to Sarah Alainn's song "Angel" speak about the struggles of life and the desire to escape from those struggles. The first stanza speaks about waiting for a second chance or a break that would make everything okay, but there always seems to be a reason to feel not good enough. The singer speaks about needing distraction and release from the memories that trouble her. She yearns to be empty and weightless, hoping to find some peace.
In the chorus, the singer imagines slipping away in the arms of an angel, leaving behind the darkness and fear that surround her. She describes being pulled from the wreckage of her silent reverie, a place where she's trapped in her own thoughts and emotions. She hopes to find comfort and solace in the embrace of the angel, where she can feel safe and secure.
The second stanza speaks more specifically about the struggles the singer is facing. She's tired of the straight line and the vultures and thieves that seem to follow her everywhere she goes. She speaks about the storm twisting around her and the lies she has to tell in order to cover up her own sense of lack. She knows that escaping one last time won't make any real difference, but she still longs for the sweet madness and glorious sadness that brings her to her knees.
Overall, the song speaks to the human desire for comfort and release from the struggles of life. It's a poignant reminder that we all need help and support at times, and that it's okay to lean on others when we're feeling overwhelmed.

@user-oe1vr9ti6r
