Na akoy may nais padama
Ngunit akoy nangangamba
Baka may masaktang iba
halta ba sa kilos kot galaw
Puso koy may nais isigaw
The lyrics to Sarah Geronimo's song "Ibulong Sa Hangin" express a feeling of hesitation and fear of possible rejection while wanting to express one's true feelings to someone. The singer seems to have a desire to communicate her feelings, but her fear of hurting the other person or being hurt herself prevent her from speaking out. The lyrics suggest a certain level of frustration and indecisiveness as she looks for answers on what to do with her overwhelming thoughts and emotions.
The song title "Ibulong Sa Hangin" translates to "Whisper to the Wind," suggesting a need for the singer to release her innermost feelings and thoughts but not necessarily to have them heard by the intended party. The lyrics speak of a desire for someone who seems to reciprocate the feeling but ends the first verse with a vague declaration of wanting to be careful not to hurt others, putting her in a state of confusion. As the song progresses, the singer still ponders what to do as she concludes that whispering to the wind is her only option.
In the chorus, the singer suggests that she may use the wind as a means of conveying her unspoken feelings towards her loved one, through kisses and hugs. However, she still seems to be holding back, suggesting a fear of rejection, and reinforces the idea that whispering it to the winds is the only way to communicate her feelings.

Halata ba sa aking mga mata
Can you see in my actions and expressions,
Na akoy may nais padama
That I am longing to convey something within,
Ngunit akoy nangangamba
But I am afraid that in doing so,
Baka may masaktang iba
It might cause harm to someone else.
halta ba sa kilos kot galaw
Can you perceive in my gestures and movements,
Puso koy may nais isigaw
That my heart has something to scream,
Ngunit di mabigkas ng labi
But my lips can't seem to articulate,
Nagaalangan kung tama o mali
Uncertain if it's right or wrong.
ano bang dapat kong gawin sa magulong isip at damdammin
What should I do with my confused mind and emotions,
Di ko yata kayang sabihin
I don't think I can say it,
Wala na kong magagawa kungdi
There's nothing left for me to do but,
Ibulong sa hangin
Whisper it to the wind.
halata ko sa yong mga mata
I can see in your eyes,
Na mayroon kang nais pabatid
That you have something to convey,
Sana'why hanggang dito na lmang pagkat ayaw ko ring msktan
I hope this is where it ends because I don't want to hurt anymore.
sa hangin kita hahagkan at yayakapin
I will kiss and embrace you through the wind,
Wag kang magalala hindi ito malalaman ng iba,
Don't worry, nobody else will know,
Ng iba
But us.
Wala na akong magagawa kung di ibulong sa hangin
There's nothing I can do but whisper it to the wind.
Wala na akong magagawa kung di
There's nothing left for me to do but,
Ibulong sa hangin
Whisper it to the wind.

The thing about the Popstar Royalty, she's able to interpret a song without bombarding it much lung busting notes. I'm intrigued though to find out how she will sing and give justice to the song SHINE. It would surely be interesting and unpredictably will have a new flavour to it. *take Rico Blanco's Your Universe for example
