Ahh
Dreams and nightmares
Ahh
Ahh
I got nightmares
Seen 'em in my dreams
I was chasing money
But I think it follows me
Follow dotted lines
I don’t see a road
I think I’m traumatized
If I’m not, we’ll never know
I got nightmares
Seen 'em in my dreams
I was chasing money
But I think it follows me
Follow dotted lines
I don’t see a road
I think I’m traumatized
If I’m not, we’ll never know
Never know
If I’m not, we’ll never know
Never know
If I’m not, we’ll never know
Never know
If I’m not, we’ll never know
Ahh
I got nightmares
I had dreams of a fortune
Beyond me being rich
I could see the money
While I’m out here gettin' rich
And I know I ask for it
I said, I know I ask for it
And all the money is out here
Playing tricks on me
I’m waking up cold sweats
While I’m deep in my sleep
And I know I ask for it
I said, I know I ask for it
That’s why
I contemplate in my sleep
Why would he give the smell of money
To a nigga like me
So all the wolves
Could eat all the goals that I reached
Already ducking all the sleep
I just wanna be free
Yeah
I got nightmares
Seen 'em in my dreams
I was chasing money
But I think it follows me
Follow dotted lines
I don’t see a road
I think I’m traumatized
If I’m not, we’ll never know
I got nightmares
Seen 'em in my dreams
I was chasing money
But I think it follows me
Follow dotted lines
I don’t see a road
I think I’m traumatized
If I’m not, we’ll never know
“Yeah
Yeah I'm lookin' for that
Yeah, yeah, yeah
We lookin' for him right now
There he go, there he go
There he go, there he go
Pull up on that nigga
Pull up on that nigga
Yeah, yeah
What's up now nigga?"
Success keep coming
Success keep coming
Till it’s coming at your ass full speed lil nigga
Success took a shot
You laying in a box
And it’s all going down from the things that you jot
Somebody’s in ya spot
He signed for a knot
Now he runs with cash and the team that you got
All this here from a rap and a dream
And it seems so simple
From the plot that I schemed
Whoo
I want my millie in cash
Yeah
I want to triple my fans
Yeah
I want the world to know
The story of ERIK and all of his plans
"Ok"
You say I’m talented right?
"Yup"
And all of my flows is tight?
"Yeah"
I want to be part of League
To make it all pop
In realty’s eyes
I got nightmares
Seen 'em in my dreams
I was chasing money
But I think it follows me
Follow dotted lines
I don’t see a road
I think I’m traumatized
If I’m not, we’ll never know
I got nightmares
Seen 'em in my dreams
I was chasing money
But I think it follows me
Follow dotted lines
I don’t see a road
I think I’m traumatized
If I’m not, we’ll never know
I got nightmares
Seen 'em in my dreams
I was chasing money
But I think it follows me
Follow dotted lines
I don’t see a road
I think I’m traumatized
If I’m not, we’ll never know
I got nightmares
Seen 'em in my dreams
I was chasing money
But I think it follows me
Follow dotted lines
I don’t see a road
I think I’m traumatized
If I’m not, we’ll never know
"This is not exactly what I had in mind
When I said make a hit
You know I kinda wanted to dance a little bit
This just kinda left me feeling…
Well, a little nervous for you

Well, we got you out of your environment
What are you afraid of?"

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Nightmare by Sarcofago - I.N.R.I. describe the struggles of chasing after wealth and success, and the burden that comes with it. The singer has nightmares and contemplates if he is traumatized by the constant pursuit of money or if he is just paranoid. He can't see the road and feels lost, chasing after wealth blindly, and it seems to follow him everywhere he goes. He sees himself as a victim of the greed that drives him and worries that he will never escape from its clutches.

The singer also reflects on how he asked for success and wealth but didn't anticipate the risks that came with it. He is haunted by the thought that one day it may all be taken away from him, and he will return to square one. The song ends with a voice stating that the song is not what they had in mind for a hit, possibly referring to the music industry's focus on commercially appealing songs and the pressure that artists face to deliver a mainstream sound.

Pra terem noção da fama que o sarcófago chegou, até o falecido pelle ohlin dead, do Mayhem , curtia a banda. Sepultura só foi Black durante os dois primeiros álbuns. Sarcófago foi fiel ao estilo até o final.

@loboczarniano7937

Na verdade Sarcofago é Blackned Death Metal
Jamais foi Black Metal puro

@isaacsilva5097

Sepultura no início era death/thrash

@angelofellype1053

ouvir falar também, tem algum documento que eles citam o sarcófago?

@nose-bleed
