During the period when Look At Us was receiving much radio airplay (March/April 2001), most listeners did not know whether the artist's name was Sabrina Paris or Sarina Paris. Since she had not been very well-known in America in 2001, many DJs announced her name as Sabrina.
Sarina toured with LaToya Jackson in various parts of Hawaii in May 2004. Although her website has been replaced by a lawyer's website, Sarina is indeed alive, though her music career is on hold, as is her movie, television show, and album production. Although Sarina did release a new song several years ago entitled, You Are My Valentine which was featured on her website, the song is currently only available on EuroBeats Vol.3. No new songs or album was released after her song.
Paris' singing voice has an odd quality that many listeners and reviewers have noted, to the effect that she often sounds as though her voice is synthesized, even when it is not.

Dancing as we paint the town
Friends they do surround
We are single yeah
It's so great to be
Answering to nobody
Freedom's got the sound
Freedom's all around
People jumping up and down
Boys and girl go down
We are single yeah
It's so great to be in the crazy company
What more can I be
We are single yeah
Da de da de da de
The single life is for me
Da de da de da de
With the fun compnay
Da de da de da de
The single life is for me
Da de da de da de
With the fun company
Da de da de da de
Da de da de da de
Da de da de da de
Forget bout the boy, girl he don't do you right
Forget about the way that he held you tonight
So dry up all your tears
Listen up, come with me
We'll play the single life with the fun company
Well you can fall in love
You could find mister right
You will spend all your time to keep him in sight
You gotta take a hold of your life
Come with me
Be single for a while
Have some fun and be free
The lyrics to Sarina Paris's song "The Single Life" describe the upsides of being single and free from the constraints of a relationship. The singer revels in the freedom that comes with being unattached, from the ability to go out and paint the town with friends without having to answer to anyone, to the exciting, potentially fleeting encounters with boys and girls. The song seems to suggest that being single is a time to be happy, carefree, and independent, with no strings attached. The singer encourages the listener to forget about someone who isn't treating them right and to join her in living the single life with all its joys and adventures.
Overall, this song is a celebration of the upsides of being unmarried, and it appears that the singer is content to stay that way for a while. The upbeat, catchy melody and simple, repetitive lyrics make this song an enjoyable, feel-good anthem that encourages listeners to embrace their independence and enjoy life on their own terms.
