1) Sasha, born Alexander Coe (born September 4, 1969), is a Welsh DJ and record producer. Late Night Tales Presents Sasha: Scene Delete was released in April 2016. He is also known for partnering with English DJ, John Digweed, as Sasha + Digweed. The pair released several mix albums together, including the Northern Exposure series (released between 1996 and 2001). They also released one of the all time best selling mix albums, The Renaissance Mix Collection part 1, in 1994. Sasha also released two Global Underground solo mix CDs, San Francisco (GU009) and Ibiza (GU013), which are considered classics of the progressive house genre.
In 2002 he released his first solo LP, Airdrawndagger, a result of collaboration with Charlie May and Junkie XL, the album also featured a guest appearance from James Holden. The album enjoyed excellent reviews upon its release, and recently a wave of quality remixes by various producers has re-kindled interest in Sasha's production work. 2004 saw the release of Involver, his third in the Global Underground series. This mix album differed from previous albums in that each track was completely reproduced in the studio, as opposed to simply being blended together.
More recently, in 2005, Sasha began moving away from mixing with records and CDs in favor of a new approach with computer software and a dedicated controller for his live sets. With the sequencing/mixing software Ableton Live and a custom controller that Sasha helped to design, he is able to use mixing techniques that are difficult or impossible with conventional methods, including mixing together many sources at once, adjusting pitch and tempo of sources independently, and cutting up and rearranging songs. His most recent mixed CD, Fundacion, was recorded using the Ableton Live software and the album bears the name of his monthly residency nights in both New York and Los Angeles.

Oh raindrops
Raindrops are ecstasy
Oh raindrops are ecstasy
Hey Jack, thanks for that
Words I carry deep in my heart
I know these long dark roads I walk
But I don't recognize my face
Looking down at the river
I know my mother's worried sick
I know she thinks I've lost my mind
Hey mum, I'm doing fine, I'm free
Looking down at the river
In my soul I feel alone
In my mind I see the road
Walking down long winding thought
Howling "Oh God, am I lost?"
"Am I wrong?"
"Am I lost?"
Raindrops are ecstasy
Oh raindrops are ecstasy
Raindrops are ecstasy
Yeah raindrops are ecstasy
Raindrops, raindrops
Raindrops are ecstasy
In my soul I feel alone
In my mind I see the road
Walking down long winding thought
Howling "Oh God, am I lost?"
"Am I wrong?"
"Am I lost?"
"Am I wrong?"
"Am I lost?"
"Am I wrong?"
Raindrops are ecstasy
Oh raindrops are ecstasy
Raindrops are ecstasy
Yeah raindrops are ecstasy
Raindrops are, raindrops are
Raindrops are ecstasy
Raindrops are ecstasy
Oh raindrops are ecstasy
Raindrops are ecstasy
Oh raindrops are ecstasy
Raindrops are ecstasy
Oh raindrops
Raindrops are ecstasy
Oh raindrops are ecstasy
Raindrops, raindrops
Raindrops are ecstasy
Hey Jack, thanks for that
Words I carry deep in my heart
The lyrics of Sasha's song Raindrops seemingly describe a person who is wandering alone through a dark path, feeling lost and disconnected. The singer seems to have a lot of introspective thoughts and is uncertain about their direction in life. They describe looking down at a river, which could symbolize the flow of life, and feeling both disconnected and connected to it at the same time. However, despite feeling lost and uncertain, the singer feels comfort in raindrops. In fact, they seem to suggest that raindrops are a source of ecstasy, perhaps because they symbolize the cleansing of the soul or the renewal of life.
The lyrics also suggest that the singer has people in their life who care about them. They mention their mother, who is worried about them, and the words of a person named Jack, which they carry deep in their heart. Despite feeling alone and lost, the singer seems to draw strength from the people and elements of nature that surround them. Raindrops, in particular, seem to provide them with a sense of comfort and ecstasy.
Overall, the song Raindrops by Sasha appears to be a meditation on the meaning of life and the human experience. It explores ideas of isolation and connection, uncertainty and faith, and the power of nature to provide moments of clarity and joy.
