Sloan spent her childhood outside of Boston and developed her musical skills by teaching herself to play the piano. During summers, she visited her grandparents' farm in Siberia, Russia. At the age of nineteen, Sloan relocated to Los Angeles with the aim of pursuing a career as a songwriter, supporting herself by working at a coffee shop. On February 6, 2019, she made her US national TV debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
In 2015, Sloan was featured in Kaskade's song "Phoenix" and started gaining recognition for her songwriting abilities. She went on to write songs for artists like Idina Menzel, Maggie Lindemann, and Camila Cabello. In 2017, she collaborated with Kygo on the song "This Town," which she co-wrote.
Sloan's debut EP, "Sad Girl," was released by RCA on April 18, 2018. She then co-wrote Juice WRLD's single "Black & White" and released her second EP, "Loser," on November 29, 2018. The EP was accompanied by her first headlining tour. Sloan performed her single "Older" from the album on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on February 6, 2019.
On October 18, 2019, Sloan released her third EP, "Self-Portrait," which explored themes of anxiety and introspection. She collaborated with Kygo on the single "I'll Wait" for his album "Golden Hour" in 2020, and the accompanying music video featured personal footage of Rob Gronkowski and Camille Kostek. Sloan announced her debut album, "Only Child," in August 2020, with the lead single "Lie" released shortly after. The album was released on October 16, 2020.
On November 19, 2020, Sloan collaborated with singer/songwriter Charlie Puth on the song "Is It Just Me?" She continued to release new music, including the acoustic-driven song "when was it over?" with Sam Hunt in April 2021. In March 2023, Sloan announced her departure from RCA Records, becoming an independent artist. She also performed at the 22nd Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2023.

Does the water feel too deep
Lie awake 'cause you can't sleep without it
Ever feel like you're alone
When you're lost but your already home
Lie awake 'cause you can't dream without it
I'm never gonna leave your side
It's gonna be alright, ight
Everybody falls down, all the way down
You just gotta hold on tight
You gotta get up, gotta get up
Gonna make it through this time
Everybody falls down, all the way down
You just gotta hold on tight
You gotta get up, gotta get up
Gonna make it through this time
Ever feel like it's too much
Do you feel like you're not enough
When you feel like it's gonna take forever
Yeah I swear I know what it's like
To feel alone at the end of the night
Maybe you don't know it but it gets better
It's gonna be alright
I'm never gonna leave your side
It's gonna be alright, ight
Everybody falls down, all the way down
You just gotta hold on tight
You gotta get up, gotta get up
Gonna make it through this time
Everybody falls down, all the way down
You just gotta hold on tight
You gotta get up, gotta get up
Gonna make it through this time
Everybody falls down, all the way down
You just gotta hold on tight
You gotta get up, gotta get up
Gonna make it through this time
Everybody falls down, all the way down
You just gotta hold on tight
You gotta get up, gotta get up
Gonna make it through this time
Time, time
Gonna make it through this time
Time, time
Gonna make it through this time
Time, time
Gonna make it through this time
Time, time
Gonna make it through this time
The lyrics of Sasha Sloan's song "Fall" seem to convey the message of hope and encouragement to someone who is feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. The opening lines "Ever feel like you can't breathe, does the water feel too deep, lie awake 'cause you can't sleep without it" paint a picture of a person drowning in their emotions and struggling to cope with the weight of their problems. However, the chorus quickly follows with the reassurance that "It's gonna be alright, I'm never gonna leave your side, it's gonna be alright, ight".
The verse that comes after talks about feeling alone even when surrounded by people and struggling to get through difficult times. The lines "Everybody falls down, all the way down, you just gotta hold on tight, you gotta get up, gotta get up, gonna make it through this time" has a sense of urgency and motivation to keep going even when life seems to be too much to handle.
Overall, the song "Fall" is a heartwarming reminder that everyone goes through tough times and that it's essential to have someone to lean on during those moments. It communicates the message of hope and encourages the listener to keep fighting and not give up.

[Verse 1]
Yesterday, when I drove by your house
The sign out front said that you're moving out
I know why you'd wanna leave this town
But if you wanna talk
I'm better now
[Chorus]
I'm ready to fall in love again
I'm ready to call you up again
I'm ready to talk and be your friend
I'm ready to fall in love
[Verse 2]
I still got your number memorized
I feel your body when I close my eyes
Do you still listen to Nirvana?
I used to play that record all the time
[Chorus]
I'm ready to fall in love again
I'm ready to call you up again
I'm ready to talk and be your friend
I'm ready to fall in love
I'm ready to fall
Again
I'm ready to call
Again
I'm ready to talk
Again
I'm ready to fall
[Bridge]
I fucked up and now I see it
I get if you don't believe it
I'm sorry, this time I mean it
I'm sorry, this time I mean it
I fucked up and now I see it
I get if you don't believe it
I'm sorry, this time I mean it
[Chorus]
I'm ready to fall in love again
I'm ready to call you up again
I'm ready to talk and be your friend
I'm ready to fall in love again
I'm ready to fall
Again
I'm ready to call
Again
I'm ready to talk
Again

The moment you're ready it's already too late
@patrycjamusiolik5254
It's never too late to start over! People who struggle like I once struggled, don't listen to others, listen to the voice inside your body and your mind and you will find the path of true happiness. It took me some time to get up from the ground 0 or was it 100 miles below the sea level (also known as depression). But now every each day is brighter and I believe I'll be ready to eventually. Peace and love my dear and cute sweethearts :)

Her songs remind so much of how I feel and maybe that’s why I have a connection to her songs, emotional connection I guess
