Peter Pan
Saule Lyrics

Ref :
Mais t'as mais t'as mais t'as
On l'a surnommé « bombe à poils »
Ref
j'vais devenir maintenant ? »
elle m'a dit : « T'as qu'à demander
à Peter Pan »
Ref
The lyrics of Saule's song Peter Pan depict a man who refuses to grow up and embraces childish behaviors. The song describes his daily routine of playing video games, eating junk food, inviting friends over to play music in his garage, and engaging in reckless activities such as setting off fireworks and playing pranks. The man is constantly reminded of his age by his partner, but he brushes it off as he has a complex of Peter Pan.
The song conveys a sense of nostalgia and reluctance to embrace adulthood, which is exemplified in the line "Tais toi, chérie, j'ai le complexe de Peter Pan" (Shut up, darling, I have the Peter Pan Complex). The man struggles to come to terms with the fact that he is getting older and tries to cling onto his youth through juvenile behavior. However, in the end, his actions cause him to lose his partner, leaving him alone to face the future.
Overall, Peter Pan is a reflection of the concept of growing up and the inevitable changes that come with it. The lyrics convey the struggle many face in accepting the passage of time and the need to adapt to new stages in life.
