I can't say I fully understand why I love all of their songs, but I'm starting to think there's just a surprising genuineness to their music. Even though they cover somewhat cliche and overdone topics, they approach it with such genuine emotion that it's hard not to get caught up. Not to mention all of the music is perfectly put together.

@Etienne Grizz I think its smooth metal or atleast nu metal. Its not heavy in the drums but definitely by vocals ans guitar. I think Nu metal follows that much more I could be wrong.
