Well so long's been the day since I braced a tree

When we molecularly meltdown the walls we once held raised
When we break down the barriers that we have constructed for ourselves

And suddenly we find ourselves climbing trees as we did when we were children

Limber are our members like the children that we use to be
Our bodies are as flexible and agile as they were when we were children

When you say play
When you encourage us to relive that child-like state of being

Well my joints don't hurt when they normally would
My joints don't hurt like they usually do

And my knees are doing things that I never thought that they could
And my knees are bending in ways that I never thought were possible

They're going back in time
My knees are taking me back to my childhood

Empowered by the memories, of me as a youngin running through the trees
Invigorated by memories of myself as a child running through the trees

And i know, it's not too late to go back
And I am certain that it is not too late to recapture that feeling

Cause I'm back now
Because I have returned to that child-like state of being

And wont that be the day?
When that day arrives

To kick our shoes off and play
To throw off the burdens of adulthood and embrace playfulness

Well times are dire and I think it's time we found a way
The present is troubled and I believe it is time to discover a solution

To bring our inner children back from where they've gone astray
To reclaim the child-like sense of wonder and joy that we've lost

For life is short and sure to expire
Because life is fleeting and will inevitably end

It's time we spread love instead of spreading the fire
It is time for us to spread love and positivity instead of hate and negativity

Yea times are dire, I'll say it again
I will repeat that the present is troubled

To truly change the world, we need to change the way we're living
In order to effect real change in the world, we must alter our way of life

And I'll give my life to humanity
And I will devote my life to the betterment of humankind

I'll make my way to the top of the tallest of trees
I will ascend to the tops of the tallest trees

Planting seeds of hope, positivity, and love

So make me only in to what you want me to be
Mold me into the person you wish for me to be

And I will spread the truth from the top of the tallest tree
And from there, I will spread the message of truth, positivity, and love
