Not necessarily. He hit the tensioned thatched basket roof thing first, which took him out of terminal velocity. The curtain thing would actually have been pretty heavy because it probably goes all over the room and has a lot of posts holding it up, so it would have been semi-tensioned but also spread the impact WAY out all over the area of the curtain. The end result is that it would have been the same as only falling 10-15 feet.

I saw this movie from my childhood, and I loved it Kelly Hu was one of the hottest celebrities ever, that scene was hilarious when she said "are u gonna kill me or just stare at me?" LOL!!! I'd stare at her, then capture her. I also have this on VHS tape, and I still watch this, and love it back when the rock used to be my favorite wrestler, sure does bring memories to me, and Kelly Hu is so freaking hot.

I've noticed two things: 1) homage to Indiana Jones where he uses the gong to escape an ensemble of shooters like Indy at the beginning of temple of doom. 2) the outfits of the red guards with the turbans is the exact same as those in the mummy returns which also dealt with the scorpion king
