Scotch Lyrics

Here the toys are all talking
And if you run through the green field
Maybe you can find all what you need
Memories are far from here
Time has gone over my time
But I am with my dreams
Remembering today
Pictures of old days
Discovering today
The secrets of my Age
Remembering today
Pictures of old days
Discovering today
The secrets of my Age
I have brought up my children
Where the toys are not talking
And they run through the grey field
With the animals' happiness band
Memories are far from here
Time has gone over my time
But I am with my dreams
Time has gone over me
Remembering today
Pictures of old days
Discovering today
The secrets of my Age
Remembering today
Pictures of old days
Discovering today
The secrets of my Age
The lyrics of Scotch’s song “Pictures” speaks about the journey of life, how time passes by, and how we evolve as individuals. The song is a reflection of the artist’s own experiences, as he reminisces about his childhood in a small town where playtime was simple and toys seemed to come alive through the eyes of a child. As he grows older, he realizes how much time has passed and how much he has changed, but he still holds onto his dreams and the memories of his youth.
Through the lyrics, Scotch also shares his thoughts on how he has raised his own children, in a world that has also changed, where technology has replaced some of the simplicity of being a child. However, he still sees the importance of joy and happiness, illustrated through “the animals’ happiness band,” as his children run through the grey field playing.
In conclusion, Scotch’s “Pictures” is a reflective song that takes listeners on a journey through life, from childhood to adulthood, and the memories that stick with us forever, even as time moves on.
