The world and those who dwell therein
For He has founded it upon the seas
And established it upon the waters
The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness
The world and those who dwell therein
For He has founded it upon the seas
The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness
The world and those who dwell therein
For He has founded it upon the seas
And established it upon the waters
The earth is the Lord's
The earth is the Lord's
The earth is the Lord's
The earth is the Lord's
The earth is the Lord's
The earth is the Lord's
The lyrics of Scott Brenner's song "Ⅰ. Creation: The Earth Is The Lord's" are a direct reference to Psalm 24:1-2 in the Bible, which states, "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters."
These lyrics emphasize the idea that God is the creator of the earth and everything in it. They serve as a reminder of the divine ownership and sovereignty over the entire world and all the people who inhabit it.
The repetition of the line "The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness" reinforces the message of God's ownership and authority. It signifies that every aspect of the earth, including its abundance and beauty, belongs to God.
The song repeats these lines multiple times, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging and recognizing God as the ultimate creator and ruler of the world. It is a declaration of praise and a call to acknowledge God's power and authority.
