The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple
The truths taught to us by the Lord are certain and reliable, capable of guiding and enlightening even the most ignorant and naive among us.

The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart
The laws that the Lord has established are just and fair, and following them brings joy and contentment to our souls.

The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes
The guidance offered by the Lord is uncompromisingly good and righteous, adding clarity and understanding to our perception of the world around us.

The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever
Having reverence and awe for the Lord is a pure and abiding feeling that can last a lifetime.

The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether
The assessments and verdicts made by the Lord are unfailingly accurate and just, without exception.

More to be desired are they than gold (than much fine gold)
The teachings of the Lord are more valuable and precious than even the most expensive gold on earth.

Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb
The guidance and direction of the Lord is pleasurable and delightful beyond measure, like the sweetest of honey.

Moreover, by them, your servant is warned
Through the teachings of the Lord, we are cautioned and alerted to potential danger or sin ahead of time.

And in keeping of them there is great reward
By adhering to the ways and teachings of the Lord, we are able to receive great blessings and prosperity in this life and the next.

Who can understand his errors?
It is difficult for any person to fully comprehend and grasp their own weaknesses or mistakes.

Cleanse me from secret faults
Please purify me from any hidden or undisclosed sins or shortcomings.

Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins
Please prevent me from recklessly and arrogantly committing bold sins that are deliberate and premeditated.

Let them not have dominion over me
Please do not let my sins or flaws gain control over me and my life choices.

Then I shall be blameless (I shall be blameless)
If I can successfully avoid and conquer my personal failings, I will be seen as faultless and beyond reproach.

And I shall be innocent of great transgression
Through renouncing my major sins and decisions that go against the will of the Lord, I will be morally clean and free of guilt.

Let the words of my mouth (the words of my mouth)
May the things I say

And the meditation of my heart (the meditation of my heart)
And the thoughts that occupy my mind

Be acceptable in your sight, oh, Lord (my strength and my redeemer)
May everything I express and contemplate be pleasing and accceptable to you, my source of power and salvation.
