Kisses Suzuki
Scram C Baby Lyrics

fell suddenly asleep
to have another show of salvation
it slumbered as in pain
from one that left for days
he wasn't really capable to bear it
then suddenly straight up
in tears and full of beer
kisses suzuki, wife, light of my life
kiss a suzuki, my wife on the line
picture yourself in a boat on a river
row row that boat down your throat
picture yourself in a boat on a river
a stand-in a night, neglecting your pride
The lyrics to Scram C Baby's song "Kisses Suzuki" tell a story of a person who is struggling with emotions and seeking solace. The opening lines suggest that the person's inner voice, the one that usually brings them peace by counting sheep, has fallen into a deep sleep. This slumber is not restful, though, as they are troubled by someone who has been absent for days. It seems like this person wasn't prepared to handle the pain of being left behind.
As the song progresses, we witness a sudden change in the person's demeanor. They stand up straight, possibly fueled by alcohol, and express their anguish by screaming the name "Denis" repeatedly. This could be an embodiment of the pain they are feeling, as Denis could be the person who left them or a symbol of their frustration and longing.
In the second part of the lyrics, the focus shifts to a character called Suzuki. The singer refers to her as their wife and the light of their life. It seems that the singer is seeking comfort and connection by imagining themselves in a boat on a river. This creative visualization may be a way for them to escape their current reality and find some peace. However, there is a hint of self-destructiveness present as well, as they mention rowing the boat down their own throat. This metaphor suggests a disregard for personal boundaries and perhaps a willingness to neglect their own well-being.
Overall, "Kisses Suzuki" depicts a person grappling with deep emotions and trying to find solace in the midst of pain and longing. The lyrics convey a sense of inner turmoil and a desire for escape.
