I won't ever break there's only two of you
There's two of me too you can't ever win
Why won't you die I've got something on you
There's nothing you can do I know where the knives are
Lock me inside but I'll find my way back to where I live
The lyrics to Screeching Weasel's song Stab Stab Stab seem to be a violent and aggressive expression of someone's frustrations and anger towards a particular individual or situation. The singer is portraying themselves as being sick and tired of their current environment and the person they are addressing, and as much as they want to escape, they will not break nor give up easily. They then proceed to express their desire for their opponent's defeat, claiming that they are unable to win against two people like themselves. The line "Why won't you die I've got something on you" can be interpreted as either a threatening taunt or a confession that the singer has some leverage over their opponent. They then declare that they know where the knives are, implying that they are willing to use violence to get their revenge. Lastly, the singer declares that even if their opponent locks them up, they will find a way to break free and go back to where they feel they belong.
The lyrics of Stab Stab Stab are quite ambiguous and can be interpreted in various ways. At a closer look, this song can be seen as an expression of frustration towards a specific person or situation that the singer wants to take revenge on. The lyrics may contain violent imagery and language, but there is no clear indication that the singer is actually committing any violent acts. The song can also be seen as a manifestation of internal struggle and anger towards oneself, as the singer expresses their feelings of being trapped and unable to break free.
