"Se So Neon" usually means "New Youngsters" in Korean. It was the name of children’s magazine published from 1960s to 1980s. The band borrowed its name from the magazine, found in an independent bookstore. Mainly based on psychedelic rock, they smartly mingle the shining elements of rock history and deliver them with crisp energy.
Despite being a young band, they have already become the most anticipated rock act of Korean indie scene, winning awards like Rookie of the Year and Best Rock Song at the Korean Music Awards and appearing in prestigious best of the year lists like the ocidental music critic site Pitchfork.

사실 이렇게 오랜 시간이 걸린 데는 뮤직비디오의 제작도 큰 몫을 했다. 실사보다는 애니메이션이 곡에 더 잘 어울릴 것이라는 생각으로 사이트를 찾아보던 멤버들이 발견한 작가는 ‘츠치야 호지’. 베를린에 거주하고 있는 일본인 작가로 일면식도 없는 사이였다. 하지만 어차피 잃을 것도 없으니 일단 메일을 보내보기로 했고, 놀랍게도 답신이 왔다. “솔직히 작가 분이 정말 해 줄 지 몰랐어요. (웃음)” (강토)
츠치야 작가의 답신에는 이렇게 쓰여 있었다. “노래가 마음에 듭니다. 꼭 하고 싶습니다.” 그리고 덧붙은 한 마디. “다만 제 작업 방식으로는 3초 분량의 장면을 만드는데 하루가 걸립니다.” 모든 장면을 그림을 직접 그리고 잘라 붙여서 만드는 방식 상 굉장한 노고가 들어가는 작업이었다. 이미 발매를 앞두고 있던 상황에서 만약 그와 작업을 하려면 발매를 한참은 뒤로 미뤄야 할 상황이었다. 그래서 결국 발매를 미루기로 했고, 2월에 시작하여 6월까지 꼬박 4개월 동안 “계절의 변화를 느끼며” 작업한 뮤직비디오는 형언할 수 없는 아름다움으로 가득한 작품으로 탄생했다.
