A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Grandillo attended Ithaca College for musical theatre before dropping out to join Spring Awakening. As an actor, his credits include a recurring role on the MTV TV series, Scream, and a guest stint on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. His first single, "New", was released on 15 October 2015 and his debut EP, "Why Is It So Hard to Change", was released on 2 September 2016. On 25 August 2017, his debut album, "Necessary Trouble", was released, this time with a new single: "Trouble". Sean was also in TV shows like "The Real O'neals", "The OA" - this one it's available on Netflix -, "Youth and Consequences" - available on YouTube Red - and "Rise", a new NBC musical TV show, following the model of Glee.
