1. A British Band.
2. A modern rock band based out of Columbus, Ohio.
3. A band from Tucson Arizona
1.Deeply moving and heavy on grandiose atmosphere, soaring vocals and crushing riffs, Season’s End’s debut album The Failing Light elegantly demonstrates that you need not travel to Scandinavia to find perfectly crafted symphonic metal. Having spent the last three years honing a sound that transcends the boundaries of gothic metal, this Hampshire based sextet have created an album that is both astoundingly fresh and incredibly mature; qualities that can be attributed to the band’s refusal to resort to tired clichés. “We always strive to stay true to ourselves when writing,” states lead vocalist Becki Clark, “we don’t deliberately try and conform to any stereotypes or conventions; we make the music that we’d like to hear”. It is this attitude that truly sets Season’s End apart in a genre that is all too often characterised by rigidly set formulae and has helped propel them into the collective consciousness of Britain’s burgeoning underground metal scene.

For me, when I listen to "Someday," I immediately connect with the hopeful and optimistic message of the song. It's like Rob is speaking directly to me, encouraging me to persevere and hold onto my dreams, no matter the challenges I face.
The lyrics carry a sense of determination and resilience. It's as if Rob is reminding me that even though life can be tough and unpredictable, there is always a glimmer of hope on the horizon. He acknowledges the struggles we encounter along the way, but he urges me not to give up and to keep pushing forward towards my goals.
Later in the song, I can feel a surge of motivation building within me. Rob's voice is filled with conviction and belief in the possibility of brighter days ahead. It's like he's sharing his own experiences of overcoming obstacles and urging me to have faith in myself and my abilities.
The chorus resonates deeply with me, serving as a mantra of sorts. It's a reminder that someday, my dreams will become a reality if I stay committed and keep working towards them. The lyrics inspire me to envision a better future and to hold onto that vision, even when times are tough.
Throughout the song, there is a sense of camaraderie and understanding. It's as if Rob is cheering me on, reminding me that I'm not alone in my struggles. He acknowledges the shared experiences of setbacks and challenges, but he encourages me to keep moving forward and to believe that better days are within reach.
To me, "Someday" is a song that uplifts and motivates. It reminds me to stay focused on my dreams, to never lose hope, and to persevere in the face of adversity. It's a musical pep talk from a friend who understands the ups and downs of life and wants nothing more than to see me succeed.
Anytime I'm down or doubtful about what I'm doing, this is a song I'll put on 😊

Lyrics
You can go
You can start all over again
You can try to find a way to make another day go by
You can hide
Hold all your feelings inside
You can try to carry on when all you want to do is cry
And maybe someday
We'll figure all this out
Try to put an end to all our doubt
Try to find a way to make things better now, and
Maybe someday we'll live our lives out loud
We'll be better off somehow
Someday
Now wait
And try to find another mistake
If you throw it all away then maybe you can change your mind
You can run, oh
And when everything is over and done
You can shine a little light on everything around you
Man it's good to be someone
And maybe someday
We'll figure all this out
Try to put an end to all our doubt
Try to find a way to make things better now, and
Maybe someday we'll live our lives out loud
We'll be better off somehow
Someday
And I don't want to wait
I just want to know
I just want to hear you tell me, so
Give it to me straight
Tell it to me slow
'Cause maybe someday
We'll figure all this out
We'll put an end to all our doubt
Try to find a way to just feel better now, and
Maybe someday we'll live our lives out loud
We'll be better off somehow
Someday
'Cause sometimes we don't really notice
Just how good it can get
So maybe we should start all over
Start all over again
'Cause sometimes we don't really notice
Just how good it can get
So maybe we should start all over
Start all over again

My old coworker was a hugeeeee rob thomas fan. Everytime the song 3am started, you’d hear that intro guitar and he’d look at me and say “my boy” regardless of the song, he made it clear that it was his song. My coworker passed away and I come to these songs a lot to hear and think about him. Rest In Peace chuck, I’ll always miss closing the store with you
@lolaizaguirre

Rob Thomas is a hero. His wife became very chronically ill. He stayed by her every hour. Never let up, they say. That was a long time ago, but it says a lot about his character given he's in the demanding music biz. He loves her very much.
