Movie literally changed my life, my views and attitude. The ranger Way book by Kris Paronto is inspiring and life changing as well. I later attended and trained for two days with "Tanto and Boone", just outside of Macon Georgia. An experience that will never be forgotten. As a veteran and retired LEO, I have great respect for these men, the honor, courage and integrity is beyond portrayal any documentary can provide, or any politician can fathom. All I can say with sincerity is "Thank you Sirs."

Respectfully, Hillary's comments that are used in this video can justifiably be questioned as fallacies.

1. Her directing the Senators to not focus on what happened,
and
2. Stating that she's lost more sleep over this than others.

The first comment is evading the questioning, and the second is an appeal for sympathy, and is a vague generality, for who can determine who lost the most sleep over this.

I am so glad these men came out with the truth and shared their stories. They need not to be afraid to tell it from their experience on the field, but as this world is so critical 🙄, I think they used wise discretion in their sharing even during interviews. I respect that. I can only imagine what they went through that night and all the baggage of the aftermath they carry today. It’s not an event anyone wants to remember—the trauma, the noise, the lost lives of friends, the hopelessness, the fear, etc. These 6 men sacrificed their lives for others with no hesitation. They are real life superheroes! My heart goes out to the people back in Libya who want to be free and safe. And my heart for these heroic men who put their lives on the line against an army. This is a story that needs to be heard and honored. Thank you for your service and for displaying an utmost humble and bold bravery—for thinking of others before yourself. Truly amazing. ♥️♥️♥️♥️ I have so much more to say but there are absolutely no words able to express your story. It’s unbelievably courageous and bold. I am most certain that heroism never came across their minds and that is what makes this story even more genuine and authentic. I am a Taiwanese, I only had watched the movie, and thank god I wasn't anyone who was in that tragedy, but no matter those brave soldiers who had died in the real-life event or who survive under that circumstance, I give full respect to them. These soldiers had no choice but to play their roles, they did a good job, god bless them! These politicians who have no gratitude for the soldiers' dedication and shame for their own deeds are the people with who I am angry. While these United States' politicians sending soldiers to engage in wars that do not belong to the United States, these politicians are both breaking down many United States' soldiers' families and thousands of families in another country, so I feel shame on them.

I'm a huge fan of "The Rock" and often touted it as the apex of Michael Bay's career...until "13 Hours". I've trained with Tanto; he's an incredibly humble, gregarious, deadly Christian warrior. This movie is arguably the finest war film ever made. If you haven't seen it yet, you are truly missing out on one of the most well-made chronicles of heroism and tragedy ever put to film.

@Yea Here in a nutshell, they were diplomatic security for a quasi embassy in Libya. On 9/11/12 they were attacked by ISIS militants, they had no immediate assets for support, they held off repeated attacks until help arrived the next morning. Four died including the ambassador.

This is a wonderful story since it speaks the truth about the events - no politics involved. It makes me more appreciative of the men and women who fight and protect our country, especially from terrorists. I am proud to be an American! I watched the movie last night and if that's what really went down over there then I have to ask, why didn't they have more professional armed gaurds
and a closer back up than what they did. We had some professionals ready willing and very capable but they were told to stand down for a very long time.
It was a long enough time to make a huge difference in who lived and died in a conflict that demanded immediate attention if lives were to he saved. Shameful state of affairs that night. God Bless the brave men who stepped up and did what they could to lessen the death toll on that night! I believe every single word of the soldiers who don't lie for a living. They told it like it was while the pencil pushing Harvard educated
know it alls seen what happens when you get too big for your britches. Bullets don't give a crap about who you are or where you've been educated especially if you're CIA or

as a soldier i can vouch to some extent to their story. usually soldiers don't go out of their way to lie about such things but considering they have something to gain i can't be so sure. but as a non American i can also say that they shouldn't have been there in the first place. might have been a heroic fight from many people point of view, but also might be considered in vain. they did not die defending American's, that's just what they thought, i believe. the reason they are there in the first place, the hidden agenda's and the grand goal behind everything "politically speaking", the lack of security "including the non-American government side. i can't claim to know everything. or anything for that matter. but i know that those honest soldier's are being sacrificed for reasons that they don't deserve to die for.

and truth is, soldiers in such hard times are always honest and heroic at heart, they do what they think is the right. and for the most part they are bound to orders.

it's always the fault of those on charge.

I thought the move was terrific and terrifying at the same time. So few against so many. I have seen some interviews with them and I have no doubt that they speak the truth of what happened on the ground. When you live through that ordeal why would you make up stories. And there is no political angle with them. They deserve our eternal gratitude and I am not even American.

+ Yorick Aname I definitely understand where you're coming from on that one...gettin old ain't for sissies :D That's why I upgraded to something with longer range and higher magazine capacity LOL. But seriously, we may be a little slow but definitely don't count us out as long as we draw breath and have something to fight for.
