English Version:
"An accomplished electronic music producer, Turntablist and MPC player, passionate Japanese film buff and talented songwriter, the hyper-productive SENBEÏ goes for it all.
When he surrounds himself with his producer friends, it is to play the old school gangster in Smokey Joe & The Kid (HipHop / Swing - Banzaï Lab) or to launch giant mosh pits with Tha New Team and Tha Trickaz (Dubstep - Audioporn , Play Me Records, Ninja Tune).
Finally, the Parisian still finds time to work on the sound design of Thierry Mugler's new show with Hip Hop dancer Skorpion. Hyper productive we tell you.
—————————————————————————————-
The sound universe of SENBEÏ is delicacy, fabulousness, scratch and bass, where we could meet Amon Tobin, Flying Lotus, Prefuse 73 or even edIT. After 2 albums “Trouble Toys” (2008) and “The Kid” (2010) and an EP “Mi Lo” (2013) released by Banzaï Lab, Senbeï is finally back with a new album “MICROLOGY”.
In the spring of 2013, when the Parisian came to the Banzaï Lab offices to show us the tracks of this new opus, there was a word that immediately came to mind: “goldsmith”, so much the mastery of sound is relentless.
Versatile beatmaker, Senbeï borrows as much from Bass Music as from HipHop, without ever deviating from his fabulous, poetic, sometimes naive imagination. The production is extremely polished, but the precision of the sound never seems ostentatious, on the contrary, it invites the listener to enter fully into a singular universe where the Tinkerbell confronts Godzilla.
This new album plays the game of seduction, reminds us that electronic music and delicacy sometimes go together (very) well and that after all, we can allow ourselves a joyous regression in the land of dreams. To understand the world of Senbei as one does to that of manga director Miyazaki, makes you happy and it feels good. "

In Senbeï's song T'en va pas, the lyrics depict someone pleading with their lover not to leave them without giving them a chance. The repeated refrain of "T'en va pas comme ça" (Don't leave like that) emphasizes the urgency and desperation in the singer's plea. The use of the word "chance" implies that there may have been misunderstandings or miscommunications in the relationship, and the singer hopes for an opportunity to make things right.
The airy and repetitive "Oooh" sounds in the background of the song create a sense of longing and sadness, further emphasizing the emotional tone. The simplicity of the lyrics and the melodies also add to the song's emotional impact, making it easy for listeners to empathize with the feelings of loss and heartbreak.
Overall, the lyrics to T'en va pas are a simple yet powerful expression of the pain of love and the hope for a second chance. Through its repetitive and emotional tone, the song effectively conveys the universal experience of heartbreak and the desire for reconciliation.
