The band was started in the Fall of 2007 by guitarist, Jack Armenian, who was writing music which soon began to take shape and acquire it's own style. Dryden Mitchell, an eminent singer with one of the most ornate voices in Rock since Freddie Mercury, delivers the voice and stories. Drummer Roman Lomtadze, moving from Prague to Los Angeles, creates the rhythmic backbone of the band. David Hakopyan, equips the band with pulse and grit while attiring uncommon characterization on bass. With everything in the right place, a new sound resonates around 4 friends who embrace animating forces and suspend themselves in a state of elated bliss.
Armed with youthful rebellious attitudes and unconstricted blood vessels, the members of Send the Sages enter the rock world with eyes closed and an evocative approach on making big audio combustions.

It will make things feel better now
Everything is safe here down below
Let me show you
Ashes are falling from our eyes
They never let us see the sin
Embers are falling from red skies
I used to be your guardian devil
I used to be your Beelzebub
And all the evil actions in one day
I'm sorry, it's psycho
I can thread a needle, stitch you up
Give you a sense of pride
Don't fool yourself you need this
I'm in your head
Ashes are falling from our eyes
They never let us see the sin
Embers are falling from red skies
And make us burn brighter
I used to be your guardian devil
I used to be your Beelzebub
And all the evil actions in one day
I'm sorry, it's psychotic
Ashes are falling from our eyes
They never let us see the sin
Embers are falling from red skies
And make us burn brighter
Ashes are falling from our eyes
They never let us see the sin
Embers are falling from red skies
And make us burn brighter
I used to be your guardian devil
I used to be your Beelzebub
And all the evil actions in one day
?
And all the evil actions in one day
I'm sorry, it's psychotic
I'm sorry, it's psychotic
I'm sorry, it's psychotic
The lyrics to the song "Winter" by Send The Sages paint a picture of a person who promises to provide comfort and safety to someone who is in pain. The person sings about being able to carve a hole right to their soul and make things feel better now. The singer assures the listener that everything is safe down below and they can show them. However, there seems to be a darker side to their intentions, as the singer reveals that they used to be their guardian devil and Beelzebub. The lyrics suggest that the person has done evil actions and is sorry about it, but they also say that they can thread a needle, stitch the listener up, and give them a sense of pride.
The imagery in the song is dark and foreboding, as the ashes are falling from our eyes, and embers are falling from red skies, which make us burn brighter. The lyrics may suggest a feeling of being trapped or in danger, as the person promising safety and comfort has a history of doing evil deeds. There is a sense of manipulation and control, as the person sings about being in the listener's head and suggesting that they need their help. The repeated chorus of ashes falling and making us burn brighter may be a metaphor for emotional pain and the struggle to find hope and light in dark times.
