Eject
Senser Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

You can sue me for malpractice
every single time I jack this.
'cause the lower I go, the less I wanna know
about the truth that rips through me like a bullet.
You feel the trigger and then pull it and figure
I was an irritant of something irrelevant,
you could ignore by locking the door or more
switching over to another station.
A towering monument to disinformation
beaming out on the current frequency
propaganda written out on the pages daily.
I see the system as it crumbles before me,
propaganda written out on the pages daily.
I see the system as it crumbles before me,
I see the system as it dies.

All I check is all I see, here before me...
All I check is all I see, here before me...
All I check is all I see is this:
CONDITIONING.

(Eject the program(me), reject the power)
(Let the nature flow, let the colour flower)

The hi-tech hypnosis
leads us straight to the late-night psychosis.
Cold symmetrical thoughts flow out like shards of ice
a paradise, a rich spice.
It's radiating a glow so let it flow, go, go
It's radiating a glow so let it flow, c'mon c'mon, go
let that shit go.

Don't pull the wool over my eyes, you wool-puller
I hear your tone, I know exactly what you're full of.
Language is a virus,
Man is a violence,
I stand in defiance,
my Spirit is my science.
I know all about the powers of social control,
so find another pigeon for your pigeon hole.
Burn my body, sell my name,
hang me high in the hall of fame.
What's gone wild will never get tame
and every blow just fans a flame.
Conditioned for the street meat and for the top
told us, sold us, they won't stop.
Put all their piggy-pennies in their piggy-bank so
they can consume you wherever they go.

Talk like a sit-com, eat your "Whopper", [11.1]
I won't be another "Happy Shopper". [11.2]
Be a good boy, ignore the facts you know you'll feel much better.
Bow before the God, we'll suck you dry and send your Mom a letter.
What do we have to do to make you touch it to make you feel it?
You've been altered and you can't conceal it.
Press the button to eject
from the cartoon frame of mind that won't connect.

Overall Meaning

The song "Eject" by Senser is a reflection on the power of mass media and propaganda. The lyrics express frustration with the way society is manipulated and indoctrinated by a system that is crumbling and dying. The first verse talks about how the truth feels like a bullet ripping through the singer. They feel that they are an irritant and irrelevant to the propaganda machine, who can ignore the truth by switching to another station. The second verse talks about how the power of mass media is conditioning people to a state of hypnosis, leading to late-night psychosis. The singer is aware of the powers of social control and defiance and stands in resistance to the manipulation that seeks to control them.

The chorus is a call to reject the programming, conditioning and power structures that wish to manipulate and control us. The bridge speaks of the language, violence and control that we are subjected to as a society. The lyrics suggest that the only way to resist the power of propaganda and mass media is to reject it completely and devote oneself to seeking truth through personal experience and spiritual belief.

Overall, the lyrics are a critique of consumer culture, which replaces individuality with conformity, and enlightenment with mindless consumption. The song encourages people to free themselves from the conditioning that binds them to this false reality and find meaning and truth in their own experiences.

You can sue me for malpractice every single time I jack this.

When people hear the truth and it makes them uncomfortable, they have a tendency to ignore it or avoid it, rather than confront it or consider it. They'd rather lock themselves in their own bubble, where what they want to be true is all that exists.

A towering monument to disinformation beaming out on the current frequency propaganda written out on the pages daily.
The media, which has become an entity in and of itself, creates propaganda and manipulates information to control us and make us believe what they want us to believe.
