Two things to keep in mind. First, knowing where that centroid plane is would require knowing the mass of all the objects in the Milky way, so knowing when we are passing that center point is a matter of faith. Second gravitational attraction varies by the inverse square of the distance. Objects outside our solar system are so far away, that despite bing incredibly massive, their physical effect on us is really tiny. Crossing the centroid of a spiritual / religious significance, not physical.

Closer, our galaxy is held together by the sum total of the gravitational attraction of all the mass in it. The massive black hole at the center of the milky way has equal attraction in all directions, not along a single plane. I believe what you are describing is a mathematical construct called the gravitational centroid of our galaxy, which is the point where all of the mass above this plane, is equal to all of the mass below this plane, and the two attractive forces cancel each other out.

When planets are young the only thing they have just equinox, balance between day & nights. By decreasing the energy within planets inner core they lose their balance, between their energy & sun which is caused planets to tilt.

All new formed formations from smallest to largest the only thing they have is equinox. their tilt starts with energy loses. Weaker the energy get higher the tilt, & spin of the axis.

"the suns path" is probably just in reference to the path that an observer standing on the surface of the earth would see. It would appear to trace out a path across the sky on the imaginary celestial sphere.

Its not the planets that line up. Our galaxy is held together by the gravitational pull of a super massive black hole at the center of our galaxy. Think of this gravity field as thin as a piece of paper and shaped like a flat cirle that projects outward from the black hole. Our planet goes above and below this thin field over long periods of time.Well somtimes we pass straight threw. When we pass threw it, we are in perfect alignment with the center of the milky way galaxy.
