The moments musicaux 3 and 4 truly are among my favorite pieces to listen and to play, they both express despair so beautifully, this one almost accepting it and reflecting upon it, and the number 4 bursting in a violent cry against the misery of the human condition

@butterflysoup7699

sounds like the first movement would suit you best

Exactly my sentiments. This is my favorite piano piece in all the world. It conveys such depth and meaning.

Rachmaninoff, a great composer and a great pianist. Beautiful version here by Vladimir Ashkenazy, a pianist I have heard live in the past, as well as hearing him conduct. He is one the great pianists of the 20th to 21st century and I imagine that Rachmaninoff himself would have approved of this version. When the piano sounds as deep and rich as this, you don't really need an orchestra.

@rubinromeo4125

True, there is no need of an orchestra,well said...

@carlangaz007

It sounds so easy without too many fast parts, but I bet it is going to be extremely hard to make it sound as good as this interpretation

@juliendespois508

It's indeed not that hard to learn, but also not that hard to make sound good because the harmony is so incredible. My favourite piece to play for sure!

@anastasiagharibyan4304

I am learning this piece now and the notes aren't that hard, but my piano doesn't sound that good so it's hard to make a good sound on it.

@jakegonzalez4047

Some big chords tho

@danieltarkin

@@anastasiagharibyan4304 It's interesting to say that there are certain parts of this song where the performer has to stretch his hand to make a complete G9 chord. I think that anyone with a hand measuring 24cm down cannot perform to the point where it sounds firm

Or it can, I don't know
