I am everlasting and will exist for all time.

This isn't the life that I chose
I did not choose my current life circumstances.

My demons peel me down to the bone
My personal struggles and issues are overwhelming and exhausting.

You aren't the truth.
You are not being honest with me or yourself.

You set me up to lose.
You have purposely created a situation that guarantees my failure.

Trying to find the meaning in this
I am attempting to understand the purpose or reason behind my struggles.

How did I turn so empty and senseless?
I am wondering how I became so devoid of emotion or logic.

You're not alone in a world that makes us all feel so small
Everyone experiences feelings of insignificance and isolation in this world.

We all have a home.
We all have a place where we belong.

Caught in a battle with your own mind
I am fighting an internal struggle within myself.

It's up to you, decide.
The outcome of this struggle is determined by me and my choices.

With this darkness, I can shed no light
I am unable to offer any positivity or guidance in my current state of darkness.

Until I find the strength of every man that took my life.
I cannot move forward until I have found the determination and fortitude of those who have faced great challenges and adversity.

Now I'm just, just a waste of space
I feel useless and meaningless.

Looking for time with the intention to waste
I am seeking out time with no real purpose or plan.

And as the pride in your voice begins to diminish
As you become more humble and vulnerable.

Your mind gets weak from all the sins you've committed
Your conscience is burdened by the wrongs you have done.

They cast you out.
They have rejected or ostracized you.

I can't agree that every sinner was born as a saint
I do not believe that those who have made mistakes are inherently bad or evil.

So pray and forgive yourself for all that you have done
Reflect on your actions and extend self-forgiveness.

Take the time to walk the path of life and
Devote time to self-exploration and personal growth.

Choose your side or else you're wasting your time!
Make a decision and take action or else you will not make any progress.

You're composure's fading out
Your ability to maintain your poise and calm is diminishing.

You feel your final breath of air
You are experiencing a sense of finality and mortality.

These lungs start to collapse
Your physical body is starting to shut down or give up.

I'm breathing in, yet I'm feeling trapped.
Even though I am alive and breathing, I feel stifled and confined.

Consumed by lust
Overwhelming feelings of desire and craving.

While this temptation eats me alive
This compulsion or vice is slowly destroying me.

From all the souls that got lost in the tides
In reference to those who have succumbed to their inner demons and lost their way in life.

And all the spirits you left behind
In reference to those who have passed away and left their souls/spirits behind.

Open your eyes
Wake up and become aware of your surroundings and reality.

It's up to you this time.
The responsibility for the outcome of this situation falls solely on you.

Diamonds and beauty, they fill my head
Material wealth and superficial aesthetics are occupying my thoughts.

If I don't stop this now I'll end up dead
If I do not change my priorities and mindset, I will ultimately self-destruct.

I'm changing paths for the sake of a life
I am altering my course in life to pursue a more meaningful existence.

Now that the past is past, I've got to make this right!
I am motivated to correct my past mistakes and start anew.
