Set For The Fall was established in Setember 2011. The band immediately submersed themselves into writing with one purpose, to bring a truthful message of how God can transform any person from any walk of life to become an instrument in God’s unfailing plan. Set For The Fall’s sound can be described as hard driving choruses mixed with melodic vocals and punchy rhythms. The band’s name came from scripture Luke 2:34 NKJV. They explain Set For The Fall as simply being prepared for the day of judgement. The band’s objective is to paint a picture on the canvas of music of how God in all of his power and mercy reached into four broken men’s lives and rebuilt them as soldiers to change the world and reach a generation that has become blind to their relentless sinful nature.

Falling Down
Set for the Fall Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
And every step is a stumble
And I've got nothing left inside this heartless chest
I've lost it all to this world
Cus I'm falling down
And it feels like the weight is crushing me
And I'm calling out
Is there anybody out there to hear me?
And I still have all my struggles
Well it's a dangerous fight when ur alone at night
Surrounded by these troubles
Cus I'm falling down
And it feels like the weight is crushing me
And I'm calling out
Is there anybody out there to hear me?
These struggles
These troubles
These struggles
These troubles
Cus I'm falling down
And it feels like the weight is crushing me
And I'm calling out
Is there anybody out there to hear me?
The lyrics in Set for the Fall's song "Falling Down" depict someone who feels like they've hit rock bottom. The singer has lost their head numerous times and every step they take seems to be a misstep. They feel like they have nothing left inside them and that the weight of the world is crushing them. The chorus "Cus I'm falling down, And it feels like the weight is crushing me, And I'm calling out, Is there anybody out there to hear me?" speaks to their desperation and desire for help. They changed their life to live in the light, but still have struggles. Being alone at night surrounded by their troubles is a dangerous fight. The repetition of "these struggles, these troubles" emphasizes the turmoil the singer is going through.
