Set it Straight started out as a side project band along side members of Till Death in 2004. Sometime after Till Death won some sort of raffle and were awarded 1,000 pressed cd's they had to call it quits for one reason or another. Set it Straight took over as first priority so the 1,000 cd's went to use with the making of "My Favorite Words". Promoting positivity and a drug/alcohol free lifestyle Set it Straight has toured all over the west coast and a full US tour.The band stopped playing in 2007.

A conversation with a man helped me understand, he told me i was ignorant, he said i had no chance.
Talking to a man made me realize that I was unaware and unlikely to succeed. He gave me negative feedback on my abilities and knowledge.
At least that's how i took it in, offended and mislead, that's how i took it in.
Although the man had good intentions, I misunderstood his message and found it hurtful and untrue.
With disregard, i set it aside, continued with my life.
I ignored the man's words and chose to move on without taking any action to improve myself.
Then come to realize, i was the one who needed more advice.
Later on, I understood that I was the one who needed guidance and support to progress and succeed.
I found it easier to move along with help by your side, so grab a friend, and hold on tight.
I realized that having someone by my side to provide assistance and encouragement can make my journey easier and less lonely. I advise others to find a friend to help them on their path.
That's my lesson for tonight.
This is the valuable lesson I learned from my experience.
I'll always be there for me, i can depend.
I understand that I need to take care of myself and be self-reliant. I promise to always be present and supportive for myself.
This i know for sure, it's the only thing that's pure.
I am confident that taking care of myself is the most essential and genuine act I can do to improve my life.

Question. Are you able to call from same phone to activate the phone or do you have to use another phone that "already works" to start the new phone? I am new to this tech stuff so am curious what need to do to start up new phone.

Once you get a straight talk phone get a plan card so once you put the sim inside the iPhone or android do the instructions to activate and once you get to the last step which is putting the code on your plan card that you bought depending on how much you wanna use data for it will tell you to shut down the phone and try using the data in safari or google and then try a phone call then you should be good to go

So wait what happens if you buy the straight talk phone and put the Sim card inside and realize you didn't buy the plan Card, so you take the sim card out ... Will it not work anymore after you buy the plan card ???

i went thru all those steps and never got my phone number. tried tech support but she was in India and i couldnt understand half of what she said. she wanted the last 4 digits of a credit card. what did that have to do with anything, i bought minutes on a phone card ! then she wanted the phone number of two people i frequently call. what does that have to do with anything. she said those didnt work. gave her two more numbers and she said those didnt work. I was like why do you need them, are you going to call them: got so frustrated i ended up hanging up and throwing the darn phone in the trash. maybe after watching this viideo i will go out and get it and see if i got a message. all i wanted was a darn phone number!!!!

I buy the phone and card go home, watch the tutoral to find that I have to have a store employee assist in the activation. I'm told to CALL! Great, if i had a phone to call on, I would not have had to buy this one!!! what a lot of B.S.
