A cerveja tá no gelo
O isopor tá aí
Pode sentar, pode comer
Pega um prato aí na mesa
Para se servir
Tá em casa, tudo certo
Pode relaxar
Tá tudo bem, tá tudo bom
Porque hoje é nosso dia de comemorar
Vamos cantar, vamos bater
Vai queimando todo mundo
Na palma da mão
E esse lugar tem tudo a ver
Com a nossa energia
E o nosso som
Vem sacudir
Vem balançar
A pelada do campinho
Vai rolar também
'Tamos aí
Então vamos lá
Porque hoje é nosso dia de comemorar
Porque hoje é nosso dia de comemorar
Porque hoje é nosso dia de comemorar
Porque hoje é nosso dia de comemorar
Pode chegar, pode beber
A cerveja tá no gelo
O isopor tá aí
Pode sentar, pode comer
Pega um prato aí na mesa
Para se servir
Se preferir pegue com a mão
Tá em casa, tudo certo
Pode relaxar
Tá tudo bem, tá tudo bom
Porque hoje é nosso dia de comemorar
Vamos cantar, vamos bater
Vai queimando todo mundo
Na palma da mão
E esse lugar tem tudo a ver
Com a nossa energia
E o nosso som
Vem sacudir
Vem balançar
A pelada no campinho
Vai rolar também
'Tamos aí
Então vamos lá
Porque hoje é nosso dia de comemorar
Porque hoje é nosso dia de comemorar
Porque hoje é nosso dia de comemorar
Porque hoje é nosso dia de comemorar
Porque hoje é nosso dia de comemorar
Porque hoje é nosso dia de comemorar

The lyrics to Seu Jorge's song "Dia De Comemorar" encapsulate a celebratory atmosphere among friends. The song begins with an invitation to come and enjoy oneself - "Pode chegar, pode beber/A cerveja tá no gelo/O isopor tá aí" ("You can come, you can drink/the beer is in the fridge/The cooler is there"). This suggests an informal gathering, where the emphasis is on having fun rather than putting on a fancy display. The host encourages guests to help themselves to food and drink, and to relax and make themselves at home: "Se preferir pegue com a mão/Tá em casa, tudo certo/Pode relaxar/Tá tudo bem, tá tudo bom" ("If you prefer, take it with your hand/You're at home, it's all good/Relax/Everything is alright").
The chorus emphasizes the theme of celebration: "Porque hoje é nosso dia de comemorar" ("Because today is our day to celebrate"). The atmosphere is festive and energetic, with music and singing: "Vamos cantar, vamos bater/Vai queimando todo mundo na palma da mão" ("Let's sing, let's clap/Burning everyone on the palm of the hand"). The song highlights the sense of community that comes with celebrations among friends: "E esse lugar tem tudo a ver/Com a nossa energia/E o nosso som" ("And this place is perfect/For our energy/And our sound").
Overall, "Dia De Comemorar" captures the spirit of a joyful gathering with friends, where the emphasis is on letting go and having fun together.
