Watson left the band in 1997 and was replaced by Ashton Geoghagan. Anderson left the band in 1998, and in 1999 Dan Stacey (fiddle, highland step dancing) and Scott Long (highland bagpipes) joined Seven Nations's lineup. The band regularly tours across the US, has appeared on ESPN, CNN, and CBS, and has sold over 125,000 albums without signing to a major label. The band's most successful release to date was And Now It's Come to This, released on Razor & Tie Records.
Our Day Will Come
Seven Nations Lyrics

Where the air
Meets the sea
In such great wonderful beauty
And where
Without light
You can see
Way down and deep in your soul
That this is where you belong
I hope you will come alive
And will welcome your freedom
That will welcome you home
So take me down to the river
Take me down to the sea
To the land of healing
Wings of love will carry me
I want to feel your arms around me
Of each moment that I breathe
Let your love surround me
Bless my soul to sleep at ease
I see scenes
From a day
When our world
Is staged with love and with laughter
And when
From the sky
Comes a light
To shine on streets of white gold
And if your heart still holds on to the pain
You can always return now
But there's no need to give in to the strain
You've just got to believe
Our day will come
To break these chains and fly away
In "Our Day Will Come" by Seven Nations, the singer is imploring the listener to take a trip to the water's edge to experience the beauty of the meeting points between air and sea. The lyrics are vivid and focus on the feeling that one can attain when they stand by the water, far from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The singer believes that being near the water is a place of belonging, freedom, and rejuvenation. The singer asks to be taken down to the water's edge and to have the healing powers of the water wash over them. The lyrics also ask that the love and light we see in our mind's eye should be the one that frames our reality.
The lyrics attempt to provide the listener with an escape from the issues that plague us in life. The problems that the listener has can be left behind and can be mended with water's help. The lyrics speak to the listener on a spiritual and emotional level to showcase the power of water and the hope and vitality that it can bring. The message is clear, our day will come, and we can break free from the negative emotions that hold us down.

Come on down
Let your guard down and join us
Where the air
Where the oxygen is circulating around
Meets the sea
Connects to the ocean
In such great wonderful beauty
In overwhelming magnificence
And where
A place where
Without light
Even in darkness
You can see
One can perceive
Way down and deep in your soul
In the profound depths of your consciousness
I hope you will realize
I expect you to acknowledge
That this is where you belong
This is the place you were meant to be
I hope you will come alive
I wish you would awaken
And will welcome your freedom
And accept your liberty
That will welcome you home
Which will invite you back
So take me down to the river
Lead me near the stream
Take me down to the sea
Accompany me to the ocean
To the land of healing
A place of restoration and recovery
Wings of love will carry me
Love will sustain and uplift me
I want to feel your arms around me
I aspire to experience your embrace
Of each moment that I breathe
Every time I inhale and exhale
Let your love surround me

From a day
From a future time
When our world
When humankind's existence
Is staged with love and with laughter
Is full of affection and amusement
And when
At the moment when
From the sky
Descending from the heavens
Comes a light
Appears the radiance
To shine on streets of white gold
To illuminate the paths made of glistening yellow metal
And if your heart still holds on to the pain
And in case you still feel the ache
You can always return now
You may come back anytime now
But there's no need to give in to the strain
However, there is no reason to submit to the stress
You've just got to believe
You simply have to have faith
Our day will come
A time will arrive for us
To break these chains and fly away
To shatter these shackles and soar
