In 2022, Seven Year Witch made their long awaited debut in Los Angeles, California. The band toured cross country with platinum selling Buckcherry, playing sold out nights at the Whisky A Go Go, and their own show headlining The Viper Room. For years the band has made the road their home, accruing their cult-like following night after night.
Their latest single "Weaponize Your Love" is the band's most dangerous and aggressive release to date. Co-written by Atlanta's critically acclaimed hit songwriter Johnny Andrews, this track highlights the band's loud, electrifying hard rock swagger; A true testament to their perseverance in an industry that only values quick chirps of soulless instrumentals, industry-plants, empty cash grab lyrics.
Even capturing the heart of Eddie Trunk, who is quoted saying "Blown away by their high energy kick ass no nonsense music and live performances. For sure a band to watch!"
By all accounts, bearing witness to Seven Year Witch gives you the feeling you're witnessing lightning in a bottle - something important, ambitious, and truly rare.

Swinging up
I only want your affection
So give me some
Keep it going ′til the break of dawn
You wanna see a dog cry
Don't give him a bone
Well it′s a hustle
To make an old man tussle
And a graveyard dance
And it's a cold road
I'm trying to sell my soul
To make a penny and a dollar
Just to take me home
We′re turning rags to riches
We′re turning rags to riches
We're turning rags to riches
We′re turning rags to riches
We're turning rags to
Now, everybody lift me up
I ain′t had a come up in 20 years
I think my mama was right, no
The devil lives in the nine to five
And when the paper hits your hands
Well it just don't jive
And it′s a hustle
So why not give it a chance
To make an old man tussle
And a graveyard dance
And it's a cold road
I'm trying to sell my soul
To make a penny and a dollar just to
Take me home
We′re turning rags to riches
We′re turning rags to riches
We're turning rags to riches
We′re turning rags to riches
We're turning rags to
Let me in, I wanna die
We′re turning rags to riches
We're turning rags to riches
We′re turning rags to riches
We're turning rags to riches
We're turning rags to riches
We′re turning rags to riches
We′re turning rags to riches
We're turning rags to riches
We′re turning rags to
The song "Rags to Riches" by Seven Year Witch tells a story of a person down on their luck trying to make ends meet, willing to sacrifice anything to make money and survive. The lyrics suggest that the singer is selling their soul and engaging in a hustle, possibly involving illegal or unethical activity, just to make a penny and a dollar. The line "the devil lives in the nine to five" implies that working hard and living a conventional life hasn't worked for the singer, and they are now resorting to riskier measures to achieve success.
The chorus, "We're turning rags to riches," represents the singer's hope for a brighter future, where they can lift themselves out of poverty and finally experience the good life. Despite the immoral actions they may have taken to get there, the singer is determined to succeed and achieve the riches they so desperately desire.
Overall, "Rags to Riches" is a commentary on the harsh realities of living in poverty and the extreme measures that some people are forced to take in order to survive. The song suggests that the road to success is often cold and unforgiving, but for those who are willing to do whatever it takes, there is a glimmer of hope that they can turn their lives around and achieve greatness.

I just saw these guys for the first time in Savannah Georgia. Holy shit! They are phenomenal live, tons of energy, fun, and sound great live. We talked to them at the merch booth, I told them if 70's Aerosmith and the Black Crows had a child, they would be the offspring! They loved the analogy. They are great people
