Seventh Star has toured the US several times and has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with the likes of Agnostic Front, Hatebreed, Sick of it All, Blood for Blood, Shai Hulud, Most Precious Blood, Comeback Kid and As I Lay Dying.
2004 was a turning point for Seventh Star. After returning from a winter tour in 2003 with Hoods and Haste the Day, Seventh Star were three members and one van short of a touring band. They took a hiatus in 2004 to re-group and resurfaced with singer Johnny Intraivaia and guitarist Chase Moore.
With this solidly dedicated line-up, Seventh Star plowed through 2005 releasing their heaviest, most dynamic album to date, “Brood of Vipers".
After a European tour they recorded "The Undisputed Truth" and released it on Facedown Records in 2007.
March.29th will be their last show in 2008, They have announced that they will no longer be a band after Facedown Fest.
Just wanted to add that they announced that they will be breaking up as of March 2008.
Fade Away
Seventh Star Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics of the song "Fade Away" by Seventh Star address the sensitive issue of abortion. The song tries to send out a message to people who opt to abort their child for personal reasons. The lyrics question the morality of killing an innocent life and the impact it has on the killer's psyche. It talks about the blood of the children that the killer will have to bear on their hands, which will haunt them for the rest of their lives. The silent cries of the children fade away into a forgotten darkness, indicating how society tends to overlook this grave issue.
The person inside, referring to the unborn child, melts away to nothingness in the killer's mind. The lyrics shed light on the fact that the "choice" of ending an innocent life is not a right but an act of murder. The songwriter compares abortion to a pagan practice where a family is ripped apart before it even starts. Aborting a child is like throwing their souls on an altar of evil, and the consequences will undoubtedly follow. The lyrics also emphasize that giving life is beautiful, and taking it away is hate. The songwriter firmly believes that God will not forgive these evil deeds and that justice will follow.
