Shaaman split up in October 2006 due to personal and musical differences.
Following the break up, the drummer, Ricardo Confessori decided to reform the band under the name "Shaman" with guitarist Leo Mancini, vocalist Thiago Bianchi and bassist Fernando Quesada. Their new album is to be named "Immortal" and is due to be released in 2007.

Inside a train of dreams
The rain poured down in black and white
I stood and stared
The rest of what remains
Of my own world crumbling around
I held my tears
The falling rain
Caressed my skin again
Just let it flow to wash away
A time gone by
A feeling long denied
My heart is no more bound in pain
And now it's clear
One day leads on to another
I dry my tears
There's so much else to discover
Somewhere
I hear the sound
A thousand voices
I lost my innocence
I'm on my way
Across the desert
To rescue what I sent
Out of my heart away
And now it's clear
One day leads on to another
We'll fight our fears
And find the way back to each other
I hear the sound
A thousand voices
I lost my innocence
I'm on my way
Across the desert
To rescue what I sent
Out of my heart
I hear the sound
A thousand voices
I lost my innocence
I'm on my way
Across the desert
To rescue what I sent
Out of my heart away
The lyrics of Shaaman's song "Innocence" reflect the theme of the loss of innocence and the journey towards finding it once again. The song begins with the singer waking up inside a train of dreams, a metaphor for the mental state of confusions and illusions. As the rain pours down in black and white, the rest of what remains of his own world is seen to crumble around him. The singer stands, stunned and speechless, holding back his tears, hoping for the future days to bring something better.
As the rain falls and caresses his skin, the singer frees himself from the past and the feeling of denial that held him back in pain. He accepts that one day leads on to another and that there is so much more to discover, even if the journey is through a painful past. The singer hears a thousand voices and finds out that he has lost his innocence, but is on his way across the desert to rescue what he sent out of his heart away. He ultimately realizes that fighting one's fears will lead to finding the way back to each other.
The song is a powerful reminder to stay grounded in oneself, and that the journey back to oneself might require one to fight through numerous fears to regain a sense of innocence. Its message also advocates for the idea that, with every passing day, one has a chance to start anew and discover more of the world, despite the pains of the past.

I woke today
I started my day
Inside a train of dreams
In my mind, I boarded a train of dreams
The rain poured down in black and white
It was raining heavily
I stood and stared
I stood still and observed
The rest of what remains
The remaining part of my world
Of my own world crumbling around
Which was collapsing slowly
I held my tears
I stopped myself from crying
One day comes after another
Days pass by continuously
The falling rain
The rain that was falling
Caressed my skin again
Touched my skin once more
Just let it flow to wash away
Let the rain water flow to wash away my pain
A time gone by
A time that has already passed
A feeling long denied
A feeling that I have hidden for a long time
My heart is no more bound in pain
My heart is finally free from pain
And now it's clear
Now I can see clearly
One day leads on to another
One day follows another
I dry my tears
I wipe away my tears
There's so much else to discover
There are many more things to explore
Somewhere
At some place
I hear the sound
I can hear the noise
A thousand voices
Many voices
I lost my innocence
I lost my purity
I'm on my way
I am on a journey
Across the desert
Travelling through a desert
To rescue what I sent
To retrieve what I let go earlier
Out of my heart away
That I sent far from my heart
We'll fight our fears
We will battle our deepest fears
And find the way back to each other
Together, we will find our way back
