1. Sha… Read Full Bio ↴There are at least three bands/artists called Shades of Blue.
1. Shades of Blue was a British beat / R&B band of the 1960s that recorded their début single for Pye Records in December 1965: 'Where Did All The Good Times Go' b/w Ain't No Use (In Loving Me)'. After a two-year recording drought they signed with Decca and recorded a string of pop-psych singles under the name Toby Twirl.
2. There is also songwriter based in Cornwall, UK. The name Shades of Blue represents all the music of Mervin Hall, solo and as a duo with Barnaby Johnson on percussion, and also Studio recordings with local guest musicians. Originally from Wolverhampton, Mervin’s own distinctive musical style has evolved mainly through the influences of US and UK Blues artists as well as reggae and singer songwriters.
3. There appears to be a Shades of Blue from Denmark. Here is some biographical information in Danish:

Shades of Blue Lyrics

Was so dark and so gray
And it rained on my block
Almost each and every day
Then one day it happened
I found you and the
Rain turned to sunshine
Happiness, I found love
Oh, I said happiness
I found love
I used to be so lonely
I wished that I, I was dead
And everywhere I went
A little black cloud
Flew over my head
Then one day it happened
You came into my life
And now I'm gonna
Ask you to be my wife
Happiness, I found love
Oh, I said happiness
I found love
No more skies are turning gray
No more crying til the break of day
I'm so happy that I wanna cry
Gonna live on the street
Til the day I die
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh, baby
I need you so much
I need you, I want you
Oh, yeah
The song "Happiness" by Shades of Blue talks about how the singer's life was once dull and gray until they found love. The song begins by describing the depressing environment that the singer used to live in. The place was always dark and gray, and it rained almost every day. The singer then goes on to describe how they found love, and suddenly their skies turned blue, and the rain turned to sunshine. The song tells listeners that happiness can be found in love, and the colors of their world can be brighter when they find that love.
In the second verse, the singer further explains their previous struggles with loneliness and depression. Everywhere they went, a little black cloud flew over their head, depicting the gloom that surrounded the singer. The song then shifts to a happier note as the singer finds love. The person that changed the singer's life is now being asked to be their wife, emphasizing the importance of the newfound love. The song concludes with the singer expressing their joy and how they are willing to live on the street until the day they die as long as they have their loved one.

Happiness is what really matters in this world if only people knew what was really important.
