Don't you now how scar it is for people to stand in front of a big crowd lie that? I everyone didn't do that, most people would scared, discouraged and intimated by the silence. Everyone usually stays silent when its bad. If they are silent people auditioning (and are good) are going to think that they are bad.

I remember hearing this for the first time and getting chill bumps all over my body. Nothing has changed in these future years. I still get chill bumps everytime I hear this. I know peeps think Simon's a butt head, but I'm glad he made him sing a different song. He did Shaheen a justice! He ended up being asked to sing at Michael Jackson's tribute/memorial. Yes, I agree with you. First, I had thought the way they interpreted then I immediately can figure out which Simon knew what he was doing and he just purposely gave Shaheen to have a better chance! The judges are very knowledgeable to match up the right song for the singer's voice. So, whoever used the word, "humiliation" is just to get attention from people on YouTube.
