It interesting what emcees go out of their way to mention
Emcees often prioritize and highlight sinful behavior on the radio without hesitation.

All day on the radio- sin without flinching
Sinful behavior is constantly and openly talked about on the radio.

Some have a penchant for dissention or perhaps some invention
Some emcees have a talent for causing conflict or creating false stories for attention.

On how they fared at the latest player's convention
They boast about their success at parties or events.

Intention might as well be salvation prevention
Their motives and intentions are hindering their salvation.

Soul food cooking up in hell's kitchen- smell the stench and
Their sinful actions are being prepared in a spiritually destructive place.

Then you got the neo-soul poetry slam pretention
There are also artists who pretend to be socially conscious but still glorify sinful behavior.

Quote-unquote 'conscious' emcees speak on lynchings
These artists claim to be aware and socially conscious but still promote violence.

In the next sentence brag about how they got the game clinched and
They boast about their success in the music industry immediately after speaking about serious social issues.

Thug cats chronicle ghetto tension
Gangster rappers document the struggles and conflicts of the ghetto.

All of this is just the physical extension of the spiritual dimension
All of these actions and behaviors are merely a reflection of a deeper spiritual reality.

But now we're talking 'bout redemption
However, now we are shifting the focus to the concept of redemption.

'Cause nothing's more important than the state of your soul
Because there is nothing more significant than the condition of your soul.

Not the way that you roll or the weight that you hold
Not the image or material possessions you possess.

The 'cake' that you sold will make you go straight to the hole
Profiting from sinful actions will lead to negative consequences.

Awaiting parole- now tell me who's taking control
Waiting for release from the consequences of your actions, but who is truly in control.

We're breaking the mold for real, not your typical youth
We are challenging the norm and breaking free from the influence of popular culture.

Dropping Biblical truth with analytical proof
Presenting biblical teachings supported by logical evidence.

So one for the purity, two for the unity
One point for moral integrity, two points for unity among believers.

Three for the faith and four for humility
Three points for strong faith, four points for humility.

I get up on the mic and speak on man's inability
I take the microphone and emphasize humanity's incapacity.

To come to God on his own and cats ain't feelin' me
Humanity cannot approach God independently, but most people don't understand or accept this.

Man cheated on God like Bill did to Hilary
Humanity has been unfaithful to God, similar to Bill Clinton's affair with Hilary Clinton.

And got the nerve to beef when He breaks out heavy artillery?
And yet, people still argue and complain when God punishes them.

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven
God's anger is being unveiled from heaven.

Against all the godlessness and viciousness
Against all the lack of reverence and cruelty.

Of hypocrites who suppress the truth in wickedness
Referring to hypocrites who knowingly deny and hide the truth in their wickedness.

Since what may be known about God is plain to them
Because what can be understood about God is evident to them.

Because He made it plain to them in their craniums
Because God clearly revealed Himself in their minds.

You can't look at nature and not see God's glory
When observing nature, it is impossible to miss the magnificence of God.

His infinite being manifested in His story
His limitless existence is displayed through the narrative of creation.

From the farthest reaches of the universe
From the outermost regions of the cosmos.

Back to earth which has in fact been cursed
Even back to Earth, which has been affected by the consequences of sin.

Because of sinful man trying to make mockery
Due to humanity's sinful attempts to ridicule and belittle God.

Of God's grace with lying, hate and debauchery
Using dishonesty, hatred, and immoral behavior to mock God's gift of grace.

Greed, jealousy, strife, evil
The presence of greed, jealousy, conflict, and wickedness.

All types of people live life that's illegal
People from all walks of life choose to live in ways that are morally wrong.

They're senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless
People are often irrational, lacking in faith, lacking compassion, and cruel.

Intense, this opaqueness and darkness- no excuses
This intensity in their ignorance, obscurity, and depravity leaves no room for justification.

We glamorize sin and slander wise men
We glorify sinful behavior and speak ill of wise individuals.

Analyze the ten commandments- any surprise then?
If we examine the Ten Commandments closely, would any of these behaviors be surprising?

God hates these things and He's not budging
God despises these actions and does not compromise on His stance.

If you live like this, how will you escape God's judgment?
If you continue to live in this manner, how can you avoid facing God's judgment?

Somebody said, 'But wait, I'm a good person, ughh...
Someone may argue, 'But hold on, I am a morally upright individual, ughh...

I'm not a murderer, perjurer or burglar'
I have never killed, lied under oath, or stolen.

Consider the standard by which you measure your goodness don't flatter
Examine the criteria you are using to assess your righteousness and don't deceive yourself.

Yourself- for real, only one opinion matters
Only God's opinion truly holds weight.

That's God's and He says that no one is good
According to God, no one can be considered truly good.

Whether priest or common hood, far east to Hollywood
Regardless of one's occupation, background, or socioeconomic status.

Doesn't make a difference- what will it take for you to listen to me?
None of these factors make a distinction- what will it require for you to heed my message?

God has spoken and this is the decree
God has communicated His command.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory
Every person has committed sin and falls short of God's glorious standard.

Of Yahweh- sovereign over all territories
Of Yahweh, who reigns over all regions.

Perfectly holy, righteous eternally
Completely morally pure and righteous for eternity.

Infinite knowledge, He reigns universally
Having limitless understanding, He rules over the entire universe.

Unfathomable understanding- He's got this
His comprehension is beyond measure- He has everything under control.

Pure, perfection personified- spotless
Completely pure, representing perfection, without any blemish.

Everywhere at once, supreme superiority
Being present everywhere simultaneously, possessing supreme authority.

How dare the creature usurp His authority?
How audacious for a created being to seize His power?

Sooner or later, everybody will be feeling it
Sooner or later, every individual will experience the consequences.

Without perfection, we will never enter His presence
Without absolute moral perfection, we cannot be in the presence of God.

Or taste heaven's essence- spiritual effervescence
Nor can we experience the true nature of heaven- its spiritual liveliness.

Sinners can't afford God telling them to stay out
Sinful individuals cannot bear to hear God commanding them to stay away.

Grim situation- I think we need a way out
This is a dire situation, and I believe we need a solution.

Look! To the rescue it's Jesus Christ
Behold! Jesus Christ is coming to save us.

Holding in His right hand the keys to life
In His hand, He holds the authority over life and death.

God in the flesh giving all He had to give
God, in human form, sacrificing everything for us.

He lived the perfect life that no other man can live
He lived a life of absolute perfection that no other person could achieve.

Fulfilling what was spoken through the prophet's faith
Carrying out what the prophets had foretold by their faith in God.

So that on Judgment Day, a swap takes place
So that on the Day of Judgment, a transaction occurs.

Jesus got the punishment- believers get eternal life
Jesus took on the punishment, while believers receive everlasting life.

And all you got to do is place your trust in Christ
All you need to do is have faith in Jesus.

That's the good news and not everybody can hear it
This is the Gospel, but not everyone is open to accepting it.

But those God chose get drawn by His Spirit
However, those whom God has chosen are prompted by His Spirit.

Don't take my word for it, take your Bible off the shelf
Don't solely rely on my words, instead retrieve your Bible.

Blow the dust off of it and read it for yourself
Remove the dust and actually read it with your own eyes.

Prepare to get the key that unlocks the mystery
Be ready to discover the key that reveals the hidden truths.

Of life, victory awaits and this is what you'll see
By doing so, you will find the path to fulfillment and victory.

That truth and perception rarely ever coincide
The reality and our perception of it seldom align.

Christ's arms are open wide, go inside
Jesus embraces us wholeheartedly, welcoming us into His presence.

If you are not yet saved and are listening to this, the Great Physician

Has got the medicine- He's knocking at your door- let Him in
Has the cure for you- He's reaching out to you- allow Him to enter.

And you can sit down and have a meal together
You can have a meaningful and intimate relationship with Him.

That's my word, in His presence, keep it real forever!
