They made themselves known to the general public in 2015 with the release of their title "England Skies" certified diamond single throughout the world, and by supporting the likes of James Blunt in the UK (including a concert at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall) and Rodrigo y Gabriela in France.
Their first album "All In Time" received an unanimously positive reception with tens of millions of streams and impressive charts in thirty countries.
The band travelled across Europe for a tour of more than 80 concerts which ended in Tahiti after a sold-out Cigale in Paris.
Carried by the singles "Dinosaur" and "Come Back To Me”, their second album "Homesick" was released in 2018 followed by a tour of more than 60 concerts across Europe finishing at Sziget Festival.
After several years of composing in their native UK and under the warm Spanish sun, the band Shake Shake Go returns in 2023 with their third offering and most captivating album to date "Double Vision", an indie-pop narrative of depth and emotion.

We used to meet
Walk down the streets
With all the kids from the backseats
Turn back the clock
Come back to me
Bob Marley tees
We dyed our hair blue and bright green
We owned the block
Come back to me
Time after time, I close my eyes
And I remember the feeling
Time after time, I close my eyes
And everything has no meaning
I know I never say but
You know, you know you're all that I need, oh oh
I know I never say but
You know, you know you're all that I dream
You're all that I dream about, yeah
Now times have changed
We're not the same
You've got a house and a baby
No time for you
No time for me
Gone are the days we used to save
Our summer wage to get wasted
Long live the youth
Come back to me, huh
Night after night
I wonder why we couldn't hold on for longer
Night after night
I wonder why, guess we were just growing older
I know I never say but
You know, you know you're all that I need, oh oh
I know I never say but
You know, you know you're all that I dream
You're all that I dream about, yeah
You're all that I dream about, yeah
You're all that I dream about
Time after time, I close my eyes
And I remember the feeling
Time after time, I close my eyes
And wish that I wasn't dreaming
I know I never say but
You know, you know you're all that I need, oh oh
I know I never say but
You know you know you're all that I dream
You're all that I dream about, yeah
We used to meet
Walk down the streets
With all the kids from the backseats
Turn back the clock
Come back to me, oh
Converse and jeans
Bob Marley tees
We dyed our hair blue and bright green
Owned the block
Come back to me
Yeah
You're special to me
The song "Come Back to Me" by Shake Shake Go is a nostalgic track that reminisces on earlier, simpler times in the past. The lyrics paint a picture of carefree youth and the strong bonds built with friends during those days. The opening verse, "We used to meet, walk down the streets, with all the kids from the backseats," is indicative of this kind of comradery. Coming towards the end of the song, the "time after time" refrain stands as a lament on how fleeting those moments have become.
The chorus is a declaration of a love that was never fully vocalized. "I know I never say, but you know, you know you're all that I need, oh oh. I know I never say, but you know, you know you're all that I dream. You're all that I dream about, yeah." It is a wistful expression of longing for someone who has moved on but still holds a special place in the singer's heart. The last verse highlights the changes that have come with age and time, and how distance and responsibilities have made it harder to hold on to friendships. It is a bittersweet acknowledgement of how such relationships can quickly slip away if not nurtured and cherished.
