Honey%2C I'm Home
Shania Twain Lyrics
(Hit us, mm, ah ah)
The car won't start, it's falling apart
I was late for work and the boss got smart
My panty line shows, got a run in my hose
My hair went flat, man, I hate that (hate that)
Oh
Just when I thought things couldn't get worse
I realized I forgot my purse
With all this stress, I must confess
This could be worse than PMS
This job ain't worth the pay
Can't wait 'til the end of the day
H-Hey honey, I'm on my way
Hey (hey), hey (hey), hey, hey
Honey, I'm home and I had a hard day
Pour me a cold one and oh, by the way
Hey, rub my feet, gimme something to eat
Fix me up my favorite treat
Honey, I'm back, my head's killing me
I need to relax and watch TV
Get off the phone, give the dog a bone
Hey (hey), hey, honey, I'm home
I broke a nail opening the mail
I cursed out loud 'cause it hurt like hell
This job's a pain, it's so mundane
It sure don't stimulate my brain
This job ain't worth the pay
Can't wait 'til the end of the day
Hey honey, I'm on my way
Hey (hey), hey (hey), hey, hey
Honey, I'm home and I had a hard day
Pour me a cold one and oh, by the way
Hey, rub my feet, gimme something to eat
And fix me up my favorite treat
Honey, I'm back, my head's killing me
I need to relax and watch TV
Get off the phone, give the dog a bone
Hey (hey), hey, honey, I'm home
Oh, rub my neck will you, yeah, woo
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Honey, I'm home and I had a hard day
Pour me a cold one and oh, by the way
Hey, rub my feet, gimme something to eat
Fix me up my favorite treat

Am I the only one who loves to watch the crowd and the rest of the band have fun along with Shania? They all look like they’re having the time of their lives and I LOVE it!
@intrepid1970
I was at this concert. She was fantastic and I'm old. lol

I think part of what makes Shania's songs so great is that she sings (and writes some) of her songs from a woman's point of view and they're also based on life's experiences. Plus, they are just so darn FUN - not to mention you can sing along with them! I never get tired of listening to them!! 😂 😅

You know the kind of love is Shania's songs are a bit different than other female artists. She is talking from a position of power and confidence! She tells her lovers what to do (like don't be stupid) and it's a kind of naughty love. And that's what makes it unique!

I fell in love with her when this album came out.

She is a powerful performer and motivator!
@0Nicole2
She looks so comfy on stage. No uncomfortable heels or tight dress she can actually move and interact with the crowd. I miss music like this!
