And sometimes I'm even wrong
But I win when I choose
And I can't stand to lose
But I can't always be
The rock that you see
When the nights get too long
The woman in me
Needs you to be
The man in my arms
To hold tenderly
'Cause I'm a woman in love
And it's you I run to
Yeah, the woman in me
Needs the man in you
When the world wants too much
And it feels cold and out of touch
It's a beautiful place
When you kiss my face
The woman in me
Needs you to be
The man in my arms
To hold tenderly
'Cause I'm a woman in love
And it's you I run to
Yeah, the woman in me
Needs the man in you
Yeah the woman in me
Needs the man in you
I need you, baby
Yeah, yeah
Oh, baby
Oh, oh, mm
Oh, yeah, yeah
I need you baby
In Shania Twain's song The Woman In Me, the singer acknowledges that while she may not always be strong and sometimes even wrong, she still wins when she chooses to. She cannot stand to lose but when the nights get too long and she just can't go on, she needs the man in her arms to hold her tenderly because she's a woman in love and it's the man she runs to. She admits that when she faces the world alone, it can feel cold and out of touch but with the man, it's a beautiful place, especially when he kisses her face. Therefore, she concludes that the woman in her needs the man in him.
The song can be interpreted as a declaration of love and strong emotional dependency. In the first verse, the singer reveals to her partner that she is not always the rock he sees and needs, but she relies on him to hold her when she's weak. In the chorus, she expresses her love and her need for him as the man in her life, the one she runs to when things get tough. She recognizes that her own strength and resolve may falter at times, but when she is with him, it is a beautiful world. The song ends with the confession that she needs him, emphasizing her emotional reliance on him.

For whatever reason,

Not only is this song so relaxing and beautiful, I remember listening to it for the first time.. one of the those late night car rides home and I couldn’t get over how much this song related to how I was feeling in my life, I was longing for a man in my life , and I felt like the woman in me had so much to give to a man as well. Love is a beautiful thing, even when you don’t have it, but your longing for it, it’s such a hopeful sweet feeling!

@Annie Lewis If didn't want, wouldn't be writing or wishing, it's the illusiveness and with the current dystopia of Pharmafia it is even more illusive.
