I Like
Shanice Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I like
I like the things you do
One day I took a stroll down the street
That when I knew you were the one
We were friends for a very long time
Back when I was young, I'm a woman now
So listen to me when I say, I like the way you do the things you do
Won't you give me your seven digits, so I can give you a call
We can talk all night, youre meant to be my man.
Take the chance on my love. I think now is the time for us to talk and get more aquainted.

I want to hear rhe things you like, hold me tight
I like, the things you do

"I Like" the Kenny Dope Main remix better than the original, the Kenny Dope Main Remix reminds me of the Ms. Mello Remix of the song/single, "Back & Forth" by the late female solo R&B artist, Aaliyah. I've tried so hard to listen for the sampling of "I'll Take You There" by The Staple Singer and I can't hear that song anywhere in the melody of "I Like". The only thing I don't like about the Album Version of "I Like is the harmonica because it gives it a little bit of a country sound. But don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on the song, I love country music, and I'm not trying to nor be I being disrespectful to Shanice, I'd be damned for the rest of my life if I done something like that.
