The group was formed by Volkan Caner (vocal/guitar) and Idris Akbulut (bass) in 2006. With the live participation of Doruk Ozturkcan in electronic drums, the band was totally shaped by the end of 2009.
Idris Akbulut left She Past Away in 2015 and was replaced by Doruk Ozturkcan as a permanent member.
Clashing gothic lyrics with buzzsaw guitars, allegedly broken vocals and sensory drum effects, the band evokes the cavernous experiments of darkwave era with the likes of Fields of the Nephilim, The Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus and Suicide.
After a long demo-recording session, in 2009, the duo joined to Remoov Records in which they began to work on their debut release with Süpermatik.
The common characteristic of their live performances is that they combine their well-positioned rawk tunes and harsh textures with paranoia-inducing industrial visuals, which are created by Asli Narin.

Astonishingly SINISTER and dark and deeply spooky. Kadi Lee described it perfectly. It creates such a rich and dense, captivating eerie atmosphere, unearthly and definitively haunting. I´m fascinated with this creation. It´s shockingly otherwordly.
What if this never happened?
The mix and sound production is sooo good. The synths activate every single one of my neurons, I cant help it and it is such a pleasure.
Every time and episode of Stranger Things finishes I long so much this song would be played.
Havent seen all of the series yet, so I keep wondering as it would be a perfect match!
The synths transport me to straight into the 80s, all the effects, I imagine the sound coming from my now disappeared walkman. I´m going to rewind it and play it once more, dont want to leave here.
My favourite song by She Past Away. What a discovery when I heard them last year for the first time.

The synth and bass lines in this are so fucking dark and heavy, I wonder if they use analog synthesizers because of the warm, rich fat sound. I love the reverb on the guitar and their use of a drum machine, not to mention the haunting deep vocals reminiscent of Peter Steele's from Type O Negative but even better. This song reminds me a lot of The Cure and the Sisters of Mercy (their Floodlands album) mixed together. They really capture the 80s goth/darkwave sound fucking perfectly. The production quality is fucking superb.
