After I've listened to Sheila, Valerie and Fayette in harmony, I was surprised to hear her solo version of this song (after the love has lost its shine), it was really nyz..I lyk very much the strength of her voice followed by the softness or vice-versa ..i've heard Regina Belle..being the original & composer..she has the right too...I say, the song match well Sheila's voice..

I saw Shelia perform with the Three Degrees at Birminghams Night Out venue in the mid eighties. What a truly beautiful sexy woman I was reduced to a mumbling idiot but still cherish her autograph and remember her witty comments as she signed the album cover for me. So underrated as a singer but I think she is probably happy with her lot.

This is a very good rendition. This song still belongs to Regina who took the original recording by Gladys and The Pips and made it a classic. Gladys/Pips recording was named Glitter. Ms. Ferguson does not display the voice control of Regina but she did sing it in the fashion. Still a very good vocal display.

Not so sure..... Until now I have never heard this version. However, I hear a strong distinctive voice that measures up to Regina Belle hands down. Don't get me wrong, Regina delivered a flawless performance as well as Gladys Knight. I'm just saying that I have now heard three different interpretations of this song. Each equally brilliant......
