The project called "The Rival" features the debuts of Seara Ko-jo and Shion Miyawaki. What makes this project interesting is that both girls were friends before hand and graduated together and have both been signed on Rhythmzone in the same year. Also each girls respective debut a-side will have the same melody, but each song will be worked on by a different writer/arrangers. Seara Ko-jo's a-side titled "JOY" was worked on by Daisuke Imai (Tatami, EXILE, Bi Nakashima, and chemistry) while Shion Miyawaki's was worked on by Matsubara and Katashi (BoA, MISIA, Crystal Kay).
