The lyrics to Shlomi Shabat's song Ein Od Milvado convey a message of faith and acceptance of a higher power. The opening lines describe the beauty of the world and the hidden nature of time. The singer reflects on a time where they found themselves on the edge of a mountain and asked for advice from wise men. They decided to not view the world with a narrow lens and instead appreciate it with a broader perspective. The singer then says they have no desire to hide from reality and accept that they are only a small part of a larger universe.
The chorus, "Ein od milvado" translates to "There is nothing but Him" and is repeated multiple times throughout the song, emphasizing the belief that there is only one true power in the world, God. The singer acknowledges that God is the king of the earth and they are just a servant. The second verse describes the struggles of life and compares it to a desert with thirst and a soul seeking refuge under the wings of the divine presence. The singer admits to also asking for forgiveness from the king of the world and says they find solace in singing.
The overall message of the song is about the importance of faith, acceptance, and finding peace through acknowledging a higher power. The lyrics are powerful and full of emotion, conveying a feeling of surrender and contentment in trusting the divine.
