Second time this has happened now... the last few lines dug into my head like an earworm. I found it the last time, yeah. But this time it kept staying at the tip of my tongue. Rayhan Mahmud awesome usage of tense chords in the progression. When the composer know the way to do it right, the music simply sound awesome (and we have to agree that the japanese musicians are awesome)

Ridz Rayyan they use a lot of pentatonic progressions with intense usage of tense chords. I mean, the ending of the chorus leep up from am7 to bm7, cm7 and resolve into a D chord. Believe me, this 3 chords before de D are a lot tense and ambiguos, but the usage here is so perfect that gives this epic, little melancholic but also hopeful vibe. And the counter melody made with the friction chords in the back jus make everything even better.
