Good
Shoot Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

God only knows how long it's been.
I'm back up on my feet again.
Let's just get this well understood:
It's payback time, man, and I'm feelin' good!
Feel good!
Feel GOOD!
Feel GOOD! Yeah...
Juiced-up, feelin' no pain,
Drivin' 90 down the wrong lane.
Got a shotgun in my backseat.
Get in my way, man, you're dead meat!
I feel good!
Feel GOOD!
Feel GOOD!
Goddamn, my clutch is slipped...
No more compromising;
There's a new sun and it's rising.
On a mission.
This is my cause.
Breaking all chains.
Fuck the damn law.
I feel good!
Feel GOOD!
Feel GOOD!
Goddamn, I feel alright!
LOAD 'EM AND LOCK 'EM!
BAG 'EM AND TAG 'EM!
Juiced-up, feelin' no pain,
Drivin' 90 down the wrong lane.
Got a shotgun in my backseat.
Get in my way, man, you're dead meat!
I feel good!
Feel GOOD!
Feel GOOD!
Goddamn, I slipped my clutch!
LOAD 'EM AND LOCK 'EM!
BAG 'EM AND TAG 'EM!
Feel so good...
I feel alright...
Loadin' my clip...

American death machine...
(Feel good, etc.)

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of the song "Good" by Shoots can be interpreted in a few different ways. The song begins by referencing a long period of time that has passed, and the singer declares that they are back on their feet once again. The following line, "Let's just get this well understood: It's payback time, man, and I'm feelin' good!" suggests that the singer has had some kind of previous setback or injustice that they are now ready to avenge. This may be a literal situation, or it could be a metaphorical one, in which the singer is seeking to redress some kind of personal or societal grievance.

As the song continues, the singer's tone becomes increasingly aggressive and confrontational. They describe themselves as "juiced-up, feelin' no pain," driving at a dangerous speed, and carrying a weapon in their car. The repetition of the lines "I feel good!" and "Feel GOOD!" emphasizes the singer's sense of confidence and empowerment, and the urgent, grungy guitar riff underscores the song's rebellious energy. Toward the end of the song, the singer declares that they are "breaking all chains" and rejecting the "damn law," further emphasizing their disregard for social norms and authority.

Overall, "Good" by Shoots is a powerful, gritty rock song that channels feelings of frustration, anger, and defiance. While the lyrics may not be explicitly political or social in nature, they do suggest a strong sense of rebellion and resistance against oppressive forces.

here's my problems. i was always a good shooter, but i was good with basketballs like Spalding basketballs the more heavier basketballs. i can shoot great with a real pro basketball

now heres the big problem for me, when wilson came out with their basketballs it was to cater to the ball handler and the lay up guys, its was never marketed as a ball for shooters, i think the company knew this cause the balls were lighter and too bouncy.

after a while the players of rec started liking the feeling of the basketball and it became the basketball of choice to play with in rec. i dont know why so many like these light bouncy balls

but i cant shoot with them theyre too light for me.

is there any way i can ever shoot better with a light ball like these???? as of now my fav rec basketball is the NIKE elite balls, but no ones never wants to play with them cause it heavy compared to the wilson evolution basketballs.
