His bio:
{At 18, Larzz isn’t afraid to shake things up. He’s a singer/songwriter/guitarist and founder of the Pop/Rock solo project Show Me the Skyline that first appeared on the scene in the spring of 2009. Larzz toured throughout the east coast and performed in numerous music festivals including shows for the 2010 Warped Tour. He quickly developed a dedicated fan base and his music is instantly recognized by thousands of fans. Larzz is now taking his career to the next level and will be setting aside the SMTS name to be a self-titled artist.
Larzz’s new EP entitled “Shut Up And Dance” distinctly reflects his growth as a musician and songwriter. He states, “The songs in my new EP aim to be a potent mix of musical styles that combine Pop/Dance influences with Alternative roots and bit of video game-esque synths. To capture the feel of what I was looking for I collaborated with successful songwriter and producer Blake Healy, formerly of the band Metro Station”. And the overall sound is? Boy’s Like Girls meets Metro Station with a dash of Ke$ha chucked into the mix.
Larzz spends a lot of time getting to know his fans, both online and in the real world. “I play music so I can connect with people and all of the social media sites out there make it super easy. Then, when I play live I get to meet the awesome fans that I’ve been talking to online. My fans really inspire me and my goal is to make music that is meaningful to them-that’s our connection.”

Get On Your Feet
Show Me the Skyline Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I'm a bit of a wreck
Thinkin' about those hands
Around the back of my neck
And, to say what i feel,
I miss what we were
So unbreakable
Get up on your feet
I'll take it to the floor
Oh, here we go
You're all i want and more.
Grab yourself a seat
Imagine what's in store
Oh, here we go
You're all i want and more.
Still got your picture by my bed
I found the perfect frame and place
To fall asleep, late at night
And wake up to your face
But over time it'll have to go
And even later be replaced.
I guess part of growing up is learning
Nothing that's golden ever stays
Get up on your feet
I'll take it to the floor
Oh, here we go
You're all i want and more.
Grab yourself a seat
And imagine what's in store
Oh, here we go
You're all i want and more..
And every time i hear you its still
Such a calming sound
I see you and i feel as if
I've lifted off the ground
I wake up every morning
Wishing all my dreams were real
Just promise, girl you'll speak your mind
And follow what you feel.
Get on your feet
I'll take it to the floor
Oh, here we go
You're all i want and more.
Grab yourself a seat
And imagine what's in store
Oh, here we go
You're all i want and more.

The singer admits that they are still hung up on their ex-lover and thinks about them often, even keeping a picture of them by their bed. The person acknowledges that they must accept that things change over time and that "nothing that's golden ever stays."

Oh, to tell the truth,
Honestly speaking,
I'm a bit of a wreck
I'm emotionally unstable
Thinkin' about those hands
When I remember about those hands
Around the back of my neck
That were once around my neck
And, to say what i feel,
To articulate my feelings,
I miss what we were
I miss the old us
So unbreakable
When we were so strong together
Back when we were invincible.
During the time we felt unbeatable
Get up on your feet
Stand up and start moving
I'll take it to the floor
I'll lead the way
Oh, here we go
Let's get started
You're all i want and more.
You're everything I desire and more
Grab yourself a seat
Take your place and relax
Imagine what's in store
Think about what the future holds
Still got your picture by my bed
Your picture is still beside my bed
I found the perfect frame and place
I carefully chose its frame and spot
To fall asleep, late at night
So that I can sleep well at night
And wake up to your face
And wake up to see your lovely face
But over time it'll have to go
Eventually, I'll have to remove it
And even later be replaced.
And it'll be replaced by something else
I guess part of growing up is learning
I suppose that growing up means realizing
Nothing that's golden ever stays
That nothing lasts forever
And every time i hear you its still
You still have the same effect on me
Such a calming sound
You have a soothing voice
I see you and i feel as if
You make me feel like
I've lifted off the ground
I feel like I'm floating
I wake up every morning
Every morning, I wake up
Wishing all my dreams were real
Hoping that my dreams will come true
Just promise, girl you'll speak your mind
Just make me one promise; speak your thoughts
And follow what you feel.
And go with your instincts.
Get on your feet
Get up and move
I'll take it to the floor
I'll guide you and we'll dance
Oh, here we go
Let's start
You're all i want and more.
You're everything I want and more
Grab yourself a seat
Take a break and sit down
And imagine what's in store
Think about what the future holds
Oh, here we go
Let's start
You're all i want and more.
You're everything I want and more
