His eight years of music production experience have culminated in two main creative endeavours: Shurk (2014-present), and most recently, COMANAVAGO (2019-present), a collaborative effort between Ben and vocalist, Gabriel Swarbrick. He specialises in forward thinking electronic pop music production and contemporary experimentalism within the popular music sphere. In 2019 he graduating with a BMus (Hons) in Creative Music Technology at the University of Surrey in 2019, winning the Ableton Live Performance Prize. Four months later he toured China with Chinese pop star FiFi Rong, playing a total of 5 shows including the Asia launch of W Records, a new musical endeavour by the 5 star W Hotel (Marriott Group) brand.

Benjamin’s first commercial success was his 2015 EDM single, ‘Haunted‘ which was discovered by legendary YouTuber, ‘Markiplier‘, who to this day uses the song as his outro, amassing millions of views of a daily basis. Ben then went on to compose the OST for the popular Steam minigame, ‘Critical Annihilation‘.

Good honest dubstep - love it!
I wonder if vocal samples would enrich the mix more... That's the only main difference i can see between this and commercial music and would possibly make the music more accessible to a wider range of people. To have some rythmic human samples i think would add to the song's tunality but the music is still good all the same. Thanks Shirk, great stuff :D

Wow… When I first heard Warrior’s Dance, I was stunned. It was one of the greatest songs I’d heard in a while! But now I think you’ve outdone yourself with Launch. Everyone’s gonna say they like Haunted, but 50% of those people probably just heard it from Markiplier’s video of Critical Mass (Which btw, congrats on getting your music in a game) But just keep up the amazing work Shirk! Dude, I love your music, I'm not sure why you haven't been well received until recently, and it's still not a huge reception. I have no clue why. Your way better than those dudes who are a lot more famous than you. I still love the warrior's dance original and remastered the most. Top two in my opinion. It's ridiculous to me how you aren't ridiculously famous yet.

Awesome idea for a music video!! Imagine a post apocalyptic world like mortal engines meets mad max. A noble captain who takes his responsibilities very seriously pilots a giant city on tank tread (mortal engines style) running like hes about to meet the devil and his whole city will pay for it. Terrified he screams orders at a trembling crew for they all know in there hearts what haunts the skys. The Bird Of Prey! The legendary horror was said to be a colossal metal mechanical bird. Black as the void with eyes of hatred and hunger. With claws large enough to encircle a home and metal feather dripping with leaking black viscous oil long expired. Its Said to be captained by a man, withered and haunted. A shadow of his former self. A wraith of menace and evil. Biomechanicaly attached to his creation. Through pipes and metal hoses flow the rust and putrid yellow colored fluids that keep him barely alive. This wraith cackles insanely with laughter as he bears down on his prey. Down through the thick storm clouds. Back lit by flares shot out by the city in an effort to get eyes on it. lightning crackling over its hull it falls at insane speeds ever faster till at the last moment the metal specter of death flashes its claw forward. Slamming into the city with a all mighty gut wrenching crunch. Its weight crushing and destroying its prey. It flattens the moving city in its tracks. Then with its massive beak it leans back and slams down. Spearing the structure through to the wet earth below. There doom death and slaughter surely sealed as the city implodes in a fire ball. The Bird of Prey rips its head clear of the debris. Halo’d in fire and black rain, with lighting behind it it spreads its gargantuan wings wide and screeches louder than the din of thunder and lightning above it. Death has come. The Bird of prey strikes again

@yolo swagins I cheated - I used FL Studio 11 with Harmor and Massive. I have no musical talent because I use FL Studio 11. Real musicians only use an intricate mesh of 1 millisecond long samples from 1950s tv programs programmed into Audacity in order to make their songs. Therefore I am invalid.
