yeah they are absolute GEMS
I adore the fact that they're both songs that exist more or less independently from the films they're known from. Having grown up on saccharine musicals there is some sort of... LIFELIKE CHARM to a more "socially normal" approach to the musical association of those two films. They don't feel "out of place" for MLP/Zootopia/IRL pop culture.

I don't watch it anymore cuz I finished the entire series when I was like 10 but it is a.grrat.show.and I even went to see the movie the day it came out and I was so excited, I was 11 or 12 at the time but I still didn't wanna fully grow up then. I don't listen to this song much but it is a great song and fit so well with the movie.

One of the best movie theater experiences I’ve ever had.
Theater was all to myself, I brought my rainbow dash plushie along, and it was late at night. Got up and danced along to One Small Thing as well.
Every time I rewatch the movie I turn off all the lights and have my Dashie plushie with me. To recapture that wondrous experience.

Gud I love this song! I still remember the day I took my daughter with her friends to see the mlp movie.
I thought i was in for 1.5 hours of torture.
But it blew my mind!

honestly this song is absolutely beautiful. I listened to it a few more times right after I finished the movie. I remember seeing this movie and hearing this song for the first time. It was in 2017 when the movie came out, and I was 7-8. This song brings back so many old memories from 2017, both the good and the bads. And it makes me happy, that I had a great childhood but also sad that I’m growing up so fast.
