Sia Kate Isobelle Furler (/ˈsiːə/; born 18 December 1975) is an Australian singer-songwriter, record producer and music video director. She then took a hiatus from performing, during which she focused on songwriting for other artists. Her catalogue includes the successful collaborations "Titanium" (with David Guetta), "Diamonds" (with Rihanna) and "Wild Ones" (with Flo Rida).

In 2014, Sia released her sixth studio album 1000 Forms of Fear, which debuted at No 1 in the U.S. Billboard 200 and generated the top-ten breakthrough single "Chandelier" and a trilogy of music videos starring child dancer Maddie Ziegler. In 2016, she released her seventh studio album This Is Acting, which spawned her first Hot 100 number one single, "Cheap Thrills". The same year, Sia gave her Nostalgic for the Present Tour, which incorporated performance art elements. Sia has received an array of accolades, including ARIA Awards and an MTV Video Music Award.

I love this song. In 2013 I fell and burst my spleen and appendix, it was nice days til the pain drive me to get medical attention. At that point the peritonitis had destroyed my gall bladder, 85 % if my stomach, and 40% of my small intestine. Upon arrival at the hospital, the doctors there told me I was going to die, for sure, and that I had to sign a waiver so they could perform emergency surgery in order for me to see my family one last time .I didn't believe then. I knew I would live. After a total of almost thirty' hours in the operatory, three operations, and a total of thirteen months in the hospital, I'm almost recovered . My doctor's call it a one in a million miracle,as there's no record of anyone who has survived a similar damage. I know that every moment of my life is borrowed time, I appreciate every second,every day. Im thankful to my surgeon,Dr, Rydz and Dr Diamonds at St joesephs hospital in eureka ca, I will continue to keep a positive attitude as long as I still live, and thank you sia, for helping me to do that. I always listened to all kind of musics, but the day I met Sia, music was divided in two. Sia and the rest. Its not only about her voice or the way she sings, but also the person who she is.
Dont get me wrong, Rihanna would sing this song beautifully too, but the song would not have half of the emotion it has. Sia gives so much meaning to every single word here and it has to do with the things that she had to go through in her life.
