So they decided to form a group that would help awaken the minds of troubled youth in their hometown. So they formed an alliance with Athony Cervantes whom is considered as a guitar extra ordinaire and James Rodriguez a well renowned drummer. They called themselves "SIAKOL", siakol pertaining to a free, happy and sometimes naughty state of mind.

Siakol immediately made their presence felt because of their hard - hitting songs and gained the respect of the public. Although considered as a very young group of talents, one of the most respected recording company recognized their potential and capabilities. Alpha Recording Company offered them a contract that will make them certified recording artist. Their first public appearance were as guest at a "Battle of the Bands" in their hometown in Paranaque, and from that day on it was already considered history in the making.
